Janis' POV

Taking one more look at myself in the mirror, I left my bedroom, went to the kitchen, and made my coffee.

I was heading to a job interview.

It was a second interview at a private elementary school outside L.A.

I was applying for a teaching position, and if I got it, I would start teaching in the fall.

I was excited and nervous.

I liked the school, and the other teachers I met were pleasant.

I thought I would be a perfect fit there, but now I just needed to convince the Board of Education.

"You forgot your shoes," Wesley said, coming out of the bedroom.

He was shirtless, sleepy, and looked stunning, standing there holding my black pumps.

I smiled.

"I would have been back in to get them. So you didn't have to get up," I said, walking over to Wesley and taking my shoes from him.

"I don't mind, besides if I didn't get up, you wouldn't kiss me goodbye," He said, placing his hands on my hips and pulling me up against him as his arms encircled my waist.

Holding my high heels, I rested my arm on his shoulder, and my other hand went to his hair.

I loved Wesley's hair.

It was thick and long and soft. I could play with it all day long. He had beautiful hair. It made me a little jealous.

My hair was nice, but guys shouldn't have hair that women pay hundreds of dollars to get.

"Would you have?" He asked, breaking into my thoughts.

"Kiss you goodbye?"

"Yes."

"Sure," I smiled because we both knew I wouldn't have woken him up to say goodbye.

Wesley's lips touched mine softly, and then the kiss deepened.

His tongue darted into my mouth, and I saw fireworks in my head.

I loved the feel of his lips on mine, and I couldn't get enough of him when we kissed.

We kissed a lot.

That's about all we do.

And we sleep together, as in we laid down and go to sleep together.

Wesley has spent the night several times.

I liked having him next to me at night.

I would lay my head on his chest, my body tucked up against his, and his arm would wrap around me protectively.

There was nothing better than that feeling... that I have experienced anyways.

I turned my head away from his lips to catch my breath.

"You got this interview. It's going to go great, and next year you will be a teacher," he whispered in my ear.

I smiled at his encouragement.

"I have to go."

"I know," He kissed me again, not as long. "What are you doing after the interview?"

"I thought I'd see Riker and Molly," I said.

Wesley nodded.

"How's Riker doing?"

"Eh," I shrugged. "Joslyn doesn't remember anything at all. Which frustrates him to no end. It also means that all the charges were laid on Josyln alone. If she could remember something or give the police a name, she wouldn't be in such deep trouble."
