Janis' POV

"Great!" I mumbled as Joslyn ran around the corner of the house.

"You boys need to calm the fuck down. This is not about you," I said and turned to go after Joslyn.

I ran out front and saw her trying to get into Dad's car.

"Jos, wait!" I yelled, jogging to catch up to her.

"I can't..."She cried, tears streaming down her face. "I can't stay here!"

"Let's go," I said, fishing the keys from my pocket.

"Where?" Joylyn asked, shocked.

"Away from here," I said.

"Let's go," Joslyn said, jogging towards my car.

I followed behind her unlocking the doors as we approached the car.

"Janis!"

I looked back and saw Wesley running over to us.

"Not now, Wesley," I said as Joslyn climbed into the car. "I need to get her out of here."

Wesley nodded.

"I'll come with you."

"You wanna drive?" I asked.

He extended his hand out, and I passed the keys to him. Not before I noticed how his blue shirt illuminated his sad blue eyes.

I climbed into the front seat next to Wesley and turned to look at my sister.

Joslyn sat in the backseat, and she sank down low.

"Drive, please," she said.

Wesley pulled away from the house.

I couldn't believe what had happened.

Joslyn's pregnant, Christopher slept with Mary's friend, and Dad and Uncle Tristan were going to tear each other's heads off.

What was going on in this family?

"Jos..." I started.

"I don't want to talk right now," She said, closing her eyes.

My mouth fell open in protest, but nothing came out.

I sighed.

Turning around in the seat, I glanced at Wesley.

"Thanks for driving."

He nodded.

"Where too?"

"Why don't we go back to my place?" I suggested.

Wesley nodded.

We arrived at the house, and Wesley pulled around to the back and parked in front of the pool house.

"Come on, Jos," I said, climbing out.

I opened her door for her, and she stood up.

I went to wrap my arm around her waist, and she shrugged me off.

"I'm pregnant, Janis. I'm not fucking dying," She snapped.

I flinched.

"I'm sorry," she muttered. "My god! It has been a fucking day! God, I could go for a drink!"

"Joslyn, you can't drink," I started.

"I know, I'm pregnant," She rolled her eyes. "I am thirsty and hungry. Where's that therapy dog of yours? I could use some of his special attention."

"He's inside. Why don't you go in, and I'll be right behind you?" I suggested.

"Are you and Wesley going to kiss?" Joslyn asked in a sing-a-long voice.
