His Girls 2 - Ari Levinson x Reader

A/N: This if you haven't guess is a follow up to His Girls, however it can be read as a stand alone as there's no overarching plot!

Warnings: FLUFF!

Ari was exhausted. He had gotten home from a mission at 3 am, quietly sneaking into the apartment so he wouldn't wake you or Maya up.

He'd already poked his head into Maya's room and lightly kissed the top of her head when he quietly made his way to you. He peeled off his tee and jeans before carefully climbing into bed next to you.

However, despite his best attempts, you stirred "what time is it?" You murmured shuffling closer to him.

"3 am, now go back to sleep" Ari whispered as he shifted in bed, his arms wrapping around your shoulders.

"Not until you give me a kiss" you mumble lifting your head to give him better access.

Ari gave a low chuckle as he cupped your cheek and kissed you gently and slowly "now go back to sleep" he whispered as he kissed your forehead.

"M'kay" you murmured already falling back asleep, your head resting on his chest.

When morning broke Ari made an attempt to get up but you told him to rest up and that you would handle everything. Ari couldn't even attempt to argue, especially when you ran your hands through his hair, lulling him back to sleep.

It was a few hours later when Ari slowly woke to the sound of whispering and poorly concealed giggling. Ari frown his eyes still shut as he tried to work out what was going on.

"Remember we need to be quiet, we don't want to ruin the surprise" you whisper, holding back your laughter.

"He's gonna look so pretty like a princess" Maya whispered back.

Ari then felt a cold and wet sensation across his toes making him jolt slightly. His eyes remained closed though as he listened to you and Maya hold back your laughter.

"Don't worry I'll tidy it up later" you tell Maya.

Ari then felt your hand gently slip under his, his fingers instinctively twitching to wrap around yours. But you did hold his hand, you just positioned yours between his and the bed.

He tried to pretend he was still asleep for as long as possible but curiosity won out and he peeked open one eye. He spots you at the side of his bed, and Maya at the foot of the bed. The both of you giggle and exchange a look.

"What do you two think you're doing?" Ari huffs getting your attention.

He was expecting to get some form of guilty look from the two of you, but all he got was proud smiles.

"We're making you into a pretty princess" Maya announces smiling over at him.

"A pretty princess?" Ari questions arching a brow.

"Yep! Look we painted your nails!" Maya smiles pointing to his feet and hands.

Ari looks down at his feet holding back laughter when he sees the bright pink sparkly nail polish that was now on his toes. Holding up the hand you had been holding he saw his fingernails had blue sparkly nail polish to match.

"Well, it's definitely pretty" Ari comments with a lopsided smirk.

"And well all match too!" Maya tells him showing off her hands and feet.

"I can see that," Ari says smiling over at you "you're both very pretty, now c'mere the both of you, I want to cuddle with my princesses" he smiles shifting to the middle of the bed.

Maya instantly climbs up into bed snuggling down into Ari's side, her small hand resting on his chest. You made yourself comfortable on his other side, your fingers weaving with his.

"I missed you, daddy," Maya said quietly.

"I missed you too princess, both of you" Ari whispered as he pressed kisses to the tops of your heads.

"Can we go out to get ice cream?" Maya then asks hopefully making both you and Ari laugh.

"Later I promise, but first this sleeping beauty needs a nap with his girls" Ari mutters making himself comfortable, already falling back asleep with the two of you in his arms.
