warning: bad language because its ransom!

-Ransom was in a terrible mood

-His mood pretty much reflected the current weather

-Loud and heavy thunderstorms.

-As soon as he looked out the window and saw the weather he was pissed.

-Stomping around the house like a stroppy toddler.

-You had tried to ignore him, you loved rainy days, afterall.

-Sitting by the fire, with a hot drink and a good book, maybe a couple candles lit to make it even cosier.

-But after yet another huff of frustration from Ransom you'd had enough.

-"Hugh, stop huffing and puffing like a stroppy teen" you snap, slamming your book shut.

-Ransom looks over at you with wide eyes for a split second before they narrow, a scowl forming on his forehead.

-"Did you just call me Hugh?" He states.

-"Yes" you answer simply not wavering at his cold stare.

-"You know how much I hate that" he grits.

-"Stop acting like a brat then" you shrug opening your book back up.

-"I'm not acting like a brat" Ransom grumbles crossing his arms over his chest, doing a perfect example of a brat throwing a tantrum.

-"Have you looked in the mirror?" You comment glancing at him.

-He looks down at himself before uncrossing his arms, trying to find a different position for them until he huffed with annoyance going back to crossing them across his chest.

-"You're pissed that you can't go to the country club and do what you want so you're throwing a tantrum" you point out keeping your sights on your book.

"That's not why I'm pissed" He grumbles with a small pout.

-"Okay please enlighten me" you sigh looking back over at him.

-"I was just looking forward to a day off that's all, since I've started working for Harlan all I'm doing is working or being at home, I was just looking forward to seeing some friends again, even if they are assholes" Ransom sighs fiddling with his fingers looking down at his lap.

-You sighed putting your book down before shuffling over on the couch towards him, wrapping your arms around his shoulders.

-"welcome to the life of a working adult, its sucks" you tell him making him chuckle slightly.

-"It really does" he sighs looking over at you.

-"But look you'll have more days off and and you'll be able to spend time with your asshole friends then, and today just spend it relaxing, I can make you a hot drink, we can sit in front of the fire, watch a movie, whatever you want to do" you tell him hand running up and down his back.

-A smile grows on his face "thank you kitten"

-"It nothing, anything to stop you from a full on toddler meltdown" you smirk earning a roll of the eyes from him.
