Chapter 40

THE GIRLS WANT TO work as fast as Deuce with the exchange of numbers and to set a time to meet. Eschewal gets out of the car and heads towards the corner shop.

Deuce gets the numbers from the girls and watches as they walk off, hoping to meet more guys with whom they can give their numbers and meet up for sex.

Eschewal is on his way back from the corner shop. He does not notice a pair of luscious legs behind him. Deuce spots them instantly; he indicates to Eschewal to stop the girl. Eschewal cannot hear what Deuce is saying and keeps stepping toward the car. He reaches it and opens the door.

Deuce yells and points. "Look, cuz. I was telling you to stop that, chick."

Eschewal looks around and catches the back view of the girl. He says, "So why didn't you jump out and stop her?"

Deuce sucks his teeth. "Because you were right near her, innit, you dick head." He pops the car door and chases the girl. He reaches the edge of the corner and hollers, "Hello, hello..."

The girl stops and turns around.

Deuce waves her to him.

She hesitates and squints her eyes as she tries to determine if she knows Deuce.

He waves again. "Come here, man."

The girl puts her hand on her hip and strolls up to him with her two shopping bags in her other hand.

Eschewal watches from the car as Deuce charms the girl. She smiles and nods. She smiles and nods again, then moves from the corner towards the car with Deuce leading.

Deuce gets to the car and says to Eschewal, "Oi, blood, you don't mind dropping this beautiful girl home, do you?"

Before Eschewal can reply, Deuce mouths, "We can link her later, and both go thru."

Eschewal wants to say, "So what. I don't want a threesome. I just want to find the girl in the park," but he shrugs and says, "Yeah, whatever, I'll drop her."

Deuce gets in the front as the girl bundles in the back.

Eschewal drives off.
