STARS ARE IN THE sky, and Eschewal finally reaches home after spending half an hour in traffic. He will not let that get him down as he sits to eat the takeaway he has just purchased.
He leans over to his phone and calls Deuce, who has another date for him. Eschewal's usual optimism that maybe this date is the one is not as bold as it used to be. He secretly hopes Deuce will tell him the dates have canceled.

Deuce ends the call. Earlier, he had arranged what he thinks are two different sets of dates, who are willing to bring a friend for Eschewal. But he now has to decide which date to rain check.
