THE SUN HAS FALLEN. Deuce suggests a stroll in the park. After a half an hour drive, Eschewal pulls up at the park. Everybody steps out of the car without coats because the day's blazing sun has left the night air warm.

Deuce, Eschewal, and the two sexy girls sit on the freshly cut grass. They have been sitting there for almost an hour talking.

Deuce stares up at the stars. He says to himself, 'Flipping hell, once again little more from now I will be banging another chick that I just met and whose name I can't even remember. I need help.'

He looks over at Eschewal and gives him the signal. Deuce coughs and stands up. "Eh, bruv, I'm gonna see if I can get some drinks. I'll be back in a minute." He looks toward his girl. "Oi, babes, you wanna follow me?"

The girl smiles and rises from the grass. "Okay."

She follows up behind Deuce, leaving Eschewal and his girl on the grass.

Eschewal leans back onto his elbows. He lets out a loud gasp of air as if trying to suppress The Dog's barking that wants him to talk the girl into having sex with him right now. He coughs and fights down The Dog's temptation. He refocuses on getting to know this girl and maybe making her his wife. "So," he begins, "you don't have a boyfriend, right?"

The girl puts her hand over her mouth and then removes it. "Yeah, sort of, but we kind of broke up."

Eschewal's eyes soften. "Yeah, how long were you together?"

"Since school days."

He nods. "Do you still love him?"

She mumbles, "Yeah."

"Wow, that's deep. You know what? You should work it out, man. True love can come more than once, but once you get it, you should hold onto it and never let go."

She nods in agreement and leans back onto her elbows.

As she and Eschewal engage in further conversation, Eschewal's visual picture of him and her possibly living with happiness & riches shatters into a thousand pieces putting him back to square one.
