THE RAVE IS PACKED with females, but as they walk past Eschewal, he takes no notice of them. He no longer has the energy to look; he spent a year looking for that girl in the park and nothing.
He closes his eyes, and not thinking with a clear state of mind, he says to himself, 'Maybe Deuce is right; I should stop looking and just bang different chicks until I find the one. I think it's time to let The Dog run wild.'
He has given up hope of finding a wife and becoming happy. He will let The Dog take over from here. He opens his eyes so The Dog can be set free to pounce. Two females swoop past him. His eyes become gripped on the one behind. He mumbles, "Rah, she's pretty." A moment passes, and his subconscious sends alarm bells to his memory. His legs feel as if a young Mike Tyson's fist has pounded them. His mouth falls open. He cannot believe it! He is looking at the girl in the park!
His feet seem stuck to the ground as his insides shoot an array of emotions, leaving his arms feeling like his legs and his fingers tingling.
His heart flutters. He bites his lip and wishes he never had sex but had held out as planned. It would have made this moment ever so perfect.
A smile spreads across his face as he realizes not everything in life can be perfect, and for the first time, he truly feels happy to be alive.
He has finally found her and is not going to lose her again.
He looks over at Deuce and says, "Oi, I'll be back in a minute," then steps down the stairs to meet his princess.
