Sidharth had called Shehnaaz because he had seen her chilling out with her friends in his restaurant. He was worried about the baby knowing she was going to a party in the evening. However, he was most concerned about the guy that Shehnaaz had hugged and bid bye. Sidharth misunderstood that Asim was her boyfriend, but Shehnaaz clarified things. Later in the conversation, Sidharth declared, "I don't believe in friendship."

Shehnaaz was surprised when she heard the statement. She wanted to tear her hair out in agitation.

What kind of a person is he? Is he for real? Do people like him really exist? There's no doubt why he is so arrogant. A person who does not have any friends would become arrogant anyway, " Shehnaaz mumbled to herself."

"Unlike you, I can't imagine my life without friends," she answered.

Sidharth was the least bothered to reply to her.

"What have you thought about shifting out of your dorm? Have you tho-ught about it? "he asked, ignoring Shehnaaz's earlier statement.

Hearing this, Shehnaaz got irritated. She wondered if things had stopped for him on the topic of her moving out of the dorm.

"I have already rejected the suggestion that you had proposed to me. "Why do you ask me the same question over and over again?" she stated.

But why? You have to get out of your room someday. Then what's the pro- blem with moving into my apartment? I have already mentioned that I won't be living in the apartment with you. However, I could visit you regularly. This way, I would be able to take proper care of you, " Sidharth insisted again.

Shehnaaz had no reason to refuse him, however, the reason was unknown, which was holding her back from moving into sidharth's apartment. It was a big deal for her to get pregnant without having a boyfriend or getting married. And on top of that, now sidharth had proposed moving into his apartment, which was awkward. It was quite a tough decision for her to make. She was indecisive about whether she should agree to his suggestion or not.

She was wondering if she could trust Sidharth enough to live with him in his apartment. Many thoughts raced through her mind about how her life would change after moving in with Sidharth . These thoughts tended to create a blockage that resulted in chaos, and Shehnaaz could not put forth her thoughts before him.

Sidharth was still waiting for her to utter a word on the other side of the call. On not getting any response from her, he said, "Shehnaaz, you can take your time to reach a conclusion. Let's meet tomorrow and then talk about it. These conversations should not be carried out over the phone. It's appropriate for us to meet in person and discuss."

Shehnaaz knew that it was pointless to argue with Sidharth. And she was convinced that they should meet and then discuss it. Maybe she could make him comprehend why she doesn't want to move in with him. She could discuss what the reasons were that had refrained her from shifting to his apartment.

"Okay, I think that would be fine, "she replied coldly."

Having said that, Shehnaaz disconnected the call. She kept her phone aside and wondered, "This man, Sidharth Shukla , is weird. In fact, everything about his personality is absurd. He always has this absurd seriousness layered on his face. Neither does he have any fri-ends, nor does he have a social life. That unfortunate incident might have transformed his life like it has become today. But still, how can a person sustain their life without friends? His entire life is nothing less than a riddle to me, There seemed to be a secret hidden in everything he did or said. However, what happened to him on his wedding day was the worst thing that a man could ever think of. But I wonder if he had an arrogant temperament even before that wedding chaos happened to him."
