asmine wished to invite Sidharth to her wedding. But Shehnaaz reasoned that he didn't like attending weddings. The reason was that his bride had abandoned him on the wedding day, and that incident had shattered him to the core.
Shehnaaz even asked Jasmine not to invite him, but she was adamant enough not to listen to her. In the end, Shehnaaz had to surrender to her wish. She took her phone, dialled Sidharth's number, and passed the phone to Jasmine .
Meanwhile, Sidharth was surprised to receive a call from Shehnaaz . Various thoughts came brimming over his mind. "Just a while back, I dropped her at the wedding venue. What could have happened that she is calling me now? I hope she's keeping well. Dr. Swati had told me that Shehnaaz could effortlessly attend the wedding. Then how? Oh God, I hope she is alright."
He paused all his thoughts and answered the call.
"Hey... Shehnaaz... What happened? Is everything alright? Are you fine? Sidharth questioned He seemed worried, and Jasmine couldn't resist smiling when she heard him being concerned about Shehnaaz.
"Hey Sidharth, Jasmine this side. You need not worry. Shehnaaz is completely fine." Jasmine spoke.
Sidharth took a deep breath and was relieved that his thoughts hadn't turned real.
"Oh thank God... But then, what did she call me for?" He asked.
"It wasn't Shehnaaz who called you, but me. For your kind information, I am angry at you, Mr. Shukla, "Jasmine replied.
Hearing Jasmine's words, Sidharth was surprised. "Angry.... At me...? But why?" He questioned
"You came all the way from Chicago, and I am delighted that you brought Shehnaaz to the wedding. However, why didn't you come inside to attend the wedding? How can you just go back right out the door? That's just not fair. You should definitely come to my wedding, " Jasmine insisted.
Sidharth couldn't resist smiling. He liked how Jasmine was inviting him to her wedding. There was a kind of warmth in her words.
"That's so nice of you, Jasmine. Thank you so much for the invitation. But I'm afraid I won't be able to attend the wedding. Please accept my apologies,"Sidharth answered politely.
Despite his denial, Jasmine still insisted on him. "Would you please recite this, Mr. Shukla ? I would appreciate it if you would come and attend my wedding. Maybe as Shehnaaz 's plus one, I insist, " Jasmine requested again. Having said that, Jasmine immediately handed over the phone back to Shehnaaz.
"Talk to him, Shehnaaz. He might listen to you and come to the wedding. " Jasmine asked Shehnaaz to convince Sidharth. Shehnaaz grabbed the phone and put it over her ear.
