Shehnaaz was relieved to know that Sidharth didn't want her to reciprocate the same feelings that he had for her in his heart. He didn't want an answer to his confession. Shehnaaz was relaxed that she had finally gotten rid of all those thoughts brimming in her mind.

Little did I know that I would think of you as a companion apart from being my surrogate. You were the perfect choice for me as a surrogate, but I don't know how and when I developed feelings for you. It came as a surprise to me too, the way it was a shock to you. When we began to share an apartment, we had frequent interactions, and gradually, I didn't even realise when I fell for you in the process. You gained my respect when I came to know that you had decided on becoming a surrogate mother just to support the financial condition of your family. You were not like the typical girls that I have met before. Your simplicity, your way of thinking, the fact that you are independent, and your perspective on life attracted me more towards you. I was intrigued by your beauty inside out. These qualities were sufficient to get me inclined towards you. And then one fine day, I had to con front myself, and I did. I realised I love you." Sidharth choked as he communicated his feelings, weaving and choosing the best words to express what he had in his heart.
"But let me tell you that I was scared that day when you questioned me about my past. I was afraid you had formed an opinion about me based on events in my past. I was even scared at the mere thought of you leaving me. This was the reason why I didn't come home for four consecutive days and stayed back at the hotel. I thought of creating a distance between us as it lo- oked better than bearing the pain of you leaving me forever or having wrong assumptions about me. I was determi- ned that I could maintain a distance from you, but trust me, it was the most difficult task to be done. There is something magnificent about you that attracts me every time I try to maintain the distance. It was beyond my control to sustain a separation with you, Shehnaaz," he added.
