Maya had come to the hotel to meet Sidharth. Unfortunately, their conversation turned into a heated argument, and Maya had to walk away, infuriated. Sidharth being so protective of Shehnaaz made her curious about this new friend that he had made. She wanted to know more about Shehnaaz and get through the question of who she was.
"I haven't heard Sidharth talking about her before. How could he be possessive of a girl who had appeared out of nowhere? Who is she? Is she an employee at Sidharth's hotel? And if not, how is she acquainted with Sidharth?" Maya left the hotel with these questions brimming in her mind.
The argument with Maya left Sidharth worried. He couldn't stop thinking about the news she had told him. She disclosed that their families have decided to get them married once again. There was no emotion in his heart other than anger.
"Why don't my parents understand? I don't know how Maya has managed to manipulate them into this alliance. They didn't even care to inform me. I have told Mom and Dad a thousand times that I am clearly not interested in marrying Maya. I can't get married to a girl I don't love," Sidharth mumbled to himself in anger.
Sidharth's entire day was ruined as he kept wondering about the argument he had with Maya and couldn't concentrate on his work either. He was upset when he got back home in the evening. He went straight to his room.
Meanwhile, Shehnaz had been waiting for Sidharth to return from work. On hearing the creak of the door, she went to the living room, anticipating Sidharth's return. However, to her disappointment, Shehnaaz didn't find him there.
"Hey Rose, is Sidharth back from work?" She inquired with Rose about him.
"Yes, mam..." Rose responded as she brewed Sidharth a cup of black coffee.
Getting to know that Sidharth was already back from work, Shehnaaz made her way to his room. She knocked at the door.
Sidharth had not even changed into his casuals and was lying on his bed with his eyes closed when he heard someone knocking at the door. Sidharth assumed it was Rose who would have come with his coffee.
"Come in," he ordered from inside.
Shehnaaz slowly opened the door and went inside the room.
She was worried when she saw Sidharth lying on the bed, and she took a few swift steps to reach out to him. "Sidharth..." She called out his name.
Sidharth was surprised to hear the voice. He opened his eyes to find Shehnaaz standing before him.
"Oh hey Shehnaaz, it's you... I thought it was Rose. Umm... how come you're here? Do you want something?" Sidharth asked.
He answered his questions himself, after thinking over them for a few seconds. "Oh... Yeah, I remember you had asked me to bring some stuff for you, but I am sorry, it slipped off my mind. I'll get them tomorrow, for sure." Sidharth replied.
