"I was afraid of losing you. I can't even imagine my life without you being a part of it. I love you from the core of my heart, Shehnaaz. And there's nothing beyond your love that I might ask for."

Sidharth had confessed his love for Shehnaaz. They were standing in the middle of the road. Shehnaaz was still processing the confession that was made to her. These words were reverberating in her head. It was quite hard for her to swallow. She had never imagined Sidharth would possess romantic feelings for her. She had entered his life as a surrogate and had never imagined that she could be Sidharth's girlfriend. She was out of words to express herself and react to his love confession. Shehnaaz  stood still for some time and chose not to respond to it. She went straight towards the car and sat inside.

Sidharth was still standing, resting his back on the car. He placed his hand over his face and rubbed it a little to make it glide upwards around his forehead. Scratching his head, he cursed himself, "What was wrong with me? How could I just profess my feelings to her? Did I make a mistake in confessing my love to her? Of course, yes. Did she get hurt? Oh my God, she had to have, or she wouldn't have rushed to sit inside the car. What do I do now? I have ruined everything, " Sidharth mumbled to himself.

He continued to stand near the car for a few more minutes. Thereafter he stole a glance at Shehnaaz and saw her sitting on the seat just as she was sitting at her place earlier. She had closed her eyes.

"I hope you're fine, Shehnaaz. You don't have any problems, do you?" Sidharth walked up to her and inquired.

Shehnaaz nodded her head to indicate that she was fine and resisted saying a word. Sidharth got inside and started the car. He was driving slowly now.
Keeping in his mind what he had done a few minutes ago, he could not risk Shehnaaz and the baby's life in danger again. All the thoughts that made their way into his mind were concerned about Shehnaaz . Sidharth was ashamed of his behavior.

Sidharth considered himself responsible for anything worse that could have happened. He blamed himself and held himself responsible for any kind of disaster that could have taken place.

"Shehnaaz was right when she said that anything could have happened... She could have gotten hurt, or even worse could have transpired. We might have lost the baby. " Sidharth thought to himself, "I should learn to control my emotions and anger anyhow, as it is not for Shehnaaz ."

He was infuriated at himself and had fallen into disgrace in his own eyes. While driving the car, he stole frequent glances at Shehnaaz, who was asleep or pretending to be. Shehnaaz didn't open her eyes during their entire trip to the airport.
