Shehnaaz was waiting for Sidharth in his office. Sidharth was nowhere to be seen, even after waiting for a long time. After a prolonged wait, Shehnaaz was infuriated at Sidharth. She decided not to wait anymore and was all geared up to leave the hotel.

"Please ma'am, Mr. Sidharth should be here some time. " Lisa tried to persuade Shehnaaz not to leave.

These words gave fuel to the anger within Shehnaaz. The girl who was always calm and placid has been transformed into a short-tempered one lately. She had developed a habit of getting angry at the smallest things. It was probably the hormones fluctuating due to her pregnancy.

"If your boss, Mr. Shukla, was so  interested in meeting me, he would have been here by now. And what does that mean that he has instructed you not to let me go? Would you deliberately try to stop me here without my consent?" Shehnaaz spoke in anger.

Lisa gets a little intimidated by Shehnaaz.

"I didn't mean to say that, Ma'am. I was just passing on the message that I was asked to give, "she said.

Shehnaaz was still mad at Sidharth. She displayed her anger through her words.

"Oh okay... Then I have a message for him as well. Let your boss know that if he ever wishes to meet me again, he should finish all his meetings before-hand," said Shehnaaz, turning towards the door to walk out of the room.

Lisa made one last attempt to stop her from going. "Ma'am, please listen to me. "Ma'am,"

Shehnaaz didn't care to listen to her, and opened the door to make her way out of the office. The moment she opened the door and was about to step out, she found Sidharth standing before her. Sidharth was trying to open the door from the other end, but Shehnaaz opened the door before he did.

Due to this, both Sidharth and Shehnaaz landed in close proximity to each other. Just a little gap could be seen between them to allow the air to pass through. They were close enough that Shehnaaz could smell his perfume. This closeness allowed their gazes to meet, and Shehnaaz kind of drowned in his deep-set brown eyes.

Shehnaaz was lost in her dreamy world. Ah... how intense his eyes are. Shehnaaz felt strange to her, and she felt a chill run through her body.

For a moment, Sidharth  continued to gaze at the twinkling eyes. Thereafter,
he took a step back and apologized. "I am sorry..."

Shehnaaz was also embarrassed. She lowered her gaze and replied softly.

"No... I am sorry... I didn't realise that you were already standing at the other end of the door. "

Sidharth smiled at her. "Were you going somewhere?" He questioned

All her anger evaporated into the air when she saw that charming face. Though the reasons were unknown, One could blame it on his handsome and charming appearance or the intimidating personality that did not allow Shehnaaz to pour down her anger on him. A few moments ago, Shehnaaz was infuriated at Sidharth and wanted to rant at him. But not a single word of anger could come out of her mouth.

She attempted to turn her pitch high and stated, "umm... I was heading back to my room. I thought it would take you a little longer to finish up your meeting. So...

Shehnaaz  could only assert this much. But this wasn't all that she wanted to do. She wished to let Sidharth know that he would have to learn to value others' time as he had prioritised his. She had been practising all the statements and dialogues that she would say when Sidharth returned to his office. Now that he had come, Shehnaaz  found herself helpless as she could not utter even a single word that she had practiced.
