Shehnaaz and Sidharth were in Shehnaaz's room having a conversation with each other. Shehnaaz had placed his hand on her stomach and let Sidharth feel and imagine the baby's presence inside her womb. Sidharth was delighted. He announced that he had something for Shehnaaz too, after she gave him that unexpected gift. Shehnaaz was surprised and curious too.
"What-?" she asked him.
Sidharth smiled at her and replied, "Come with me."
"Come with you... But where?" Shehnaaz inquired, confusingly.
Sidharth made his way out of the room and insisted, "Come on, Shehnaaz. Just come along with me."
Shehnaaz knew that Sidharth wouldn't tell her anything, so she followed his lead.
Sidharth walked out of the apartment and made his way towards the elevator.
The moment Shehnaaz saw him moving towards the elevator, it made her even more curious. She wondered where they were going. She called out to Sidharth from behind. "Are we going out somewhere? Wait, I haven't changed my clothes yet. How can I come out looking like this? "she said, pointing towards her clothes.
Sidharth pressed the button on the elevator and turned around to answer her." You don't need to change your clothes. Now just keep quiet and follow me. No more questions please,"he insisted. Shehnaaz followed him into the elevator. While they were in the elevator, Sidharth stole frequent glances at Shehnaaz and smiled at her. Whereas Shehnaaz stood there clueless and staring at Sidharth with her surprised gaze.
Her heart had begun to beat fast with anxiousness and excitement. She wanted to ask Sidharth where he was taking her. But Sidharth had already restricted her from asking any questions. The elevator finally stopped on the ground floor. Sidharth came out of the elevator and began to walk towards the parking lot. Sidharth was moving to one of the parking spots where he had parked his car. Shehnaaz followed his lead. She was excited in the beginning, but now awkwardness had taken over. She had been wearing a t-shirt and track pants that made her feel even more embarrassed about going somewhere if Sidharth said so. Even her hair was not properly set. She had no idea what Sidharth was up to.
"I would refuse to go wherever he wants me to go with him. I can not go out in these clothes. Not at all. This cannot happen. It is going to be so awkward if Sidharth takes me to one of his expensive places. What would people think? They would probably think that I had come straight out of my bed. No, I won't go, "she mumbled in her thoughts.
Soon they had reached the point where Sidharth's car was parked. Shehnaaz could not contain her curiosity and questioned him, "Now would you please tell me where we are going? I would not go anywhere in the clothes that I am wearing. Please tell me what you are up to."
