"What did you decide about moving out of your dorm?" Sidharth questioned,
Shehnaaz remained silent for a few seconds and then took a deep breath.
"I am ready to move in with you," she replied.
Sidharth was delighted to know that Shehnaaz had finally accepted his suggestion. For the first time, Shehnaaz noticed the dimples on his cheeks.
"It's a good decision. So tell me, when would you shift to my apartment?I think tomorrow will be better. But you could shift in the evening if you wish to "he offered excitedly.
Looking at his excitement, Shehnaaz chuckled.
"Relax, Sidharth. Why do I always find you in a hurry? Oh wait... don't tell me that you are thinking that I might flip over my decision. Huh?" She asked teasingly.
"Yeah... yeah... Actually, ahh... you're right. I was thinking about the same." Sidharth laughed.
"You don't have to worry about that. I won't be changing my mind now. But I will shift the apartment the day after tomorrow. Actually, Jasmine , my friend, is leaving for her home tomorrow evening. I want to spend time with her," Shehnaaz requested.
Sidharth smiled at her.
"You're quite close to jasmine. I guess," he remarked.
Shehnaaz rested her back on the couch and replied, "Yes, I am. She is my best friend.
Sidharth nodded his head.
"Okay, An important question Tell me, where do I need to shift? And how?" Shehnaaz asked.
"You don't have to worry about that. Just let me know when you are done packing your stuff and I'll come over to pick you up. Did I not tell you about the apartment on Lake Park Avenue? You would be living there only," Sidharth responded.
Before Shehnaaz could say anything further, the waiter arrived in the room with the order that Sidharth had placed. He served the food and took their leave. Shehnaaz and Sidharth ate the food.
While having the food, Sidharth spoke, "Leave all your worries behind and stay calm. It's my responsibility to look after you and the baby till the time of delivery. I'll take care of you and make sure to provide you with all the necessities."
"Things would have been romantic if Sidharth was a partner. How caring would he be?" Amber thought.
"Thanks, Sidharth. I will leave now,"Amber replied to him.
"Yeah sure, then I'll be waiting for you, bye," Sidharth answered with a smile. Shehnaaz reciprocated the smile at him and made her way out of his office.
The moment Shehnaaz came out of the hotel, the bright sunlight hit her eyes and made her wonder if she had come from another world. It took her some time to get used to the bright sunlight, as she had just come out of the warm lights inside the hotel.
She took a cab from outside of the hotel to head towards the dorm. After a short drive, Shehnaaz reached her room and found Jasmine already waiting for her.
What took you so long, Shehnaaz? I have been waiting for you for so long, girl," Jasmine grumbled when she saw Shehnaaz enter the room.
Shehnaaz threw her bag on the bed and sat down. "I am sorry babe. Sidharth had an urgent meeting that took a little longer to finish. That man kept me waiting. When he was back, we spoke to each other, and then I left, "Shehnaaz explained.
Jasmine sat on the bed beside Shehnaaz and placed the pillow in her lap. She appeared excited to know what happened at the hotel. "So... What did you guys talk about then?"
