Sidharth had left for the office early in the morning, before Shehnaaz was even awake.
"He didn't have to do that anyway. I would not have asked anything regarding his past now. I want him to be happy. In these last few days, Sidharth and I have become friends. But all thanks to my stupidity, I have ruined the friendship." Shehnaaz thought,"And now it would be difficult to pacify him."
She was in no mood to eat her breakfast, but she had to take care of herself and the baby. She stood up from the chair after finishing her meal and went back to her room.
Shehnaaz had been feeling restless. She grabbed her phone. She wanted to call Sidharth but wondered what she would say. He does not want to talk to me. That is why he deliberately woke up early and left for the office before time. These thoughts annoyed Shehnaaz , and she threw her phone on the bed. She began strolling back and forth inside her room. Shehnaaz had become restless and anxious since learning that Sidharth was attempting to avoid her.
That's when the thought of Jasmine popped into her head. She thought Jasmine might be able to suggest a way to calm Sidharth's anger and sort this mess out. In consideration of this thought, Shehnaaz grabbed her phone and dialled Jasmine 's number.
Jasmine immediately picked up the call and answered, "Hey new mommy,. How are you? You have the correct sense of timing, babe. I was just out for the final trial of my wedding gown and wanted to show it to you. Wait a moment, let me switch to video call. Please see and tell me how it looks. "
Before Shehnaaz could say anything, Jasmine disconnected the call.
Shehnaaz was already annoyed, and this behaviour of Jasmine irritated her to the core.
"Such a weirdo she is. And such is her attitude. She can't be attentive for a moment. However, it is not her fault. She is getting married in a few days, and she is bound to be excited about it. I can't ruin her mood by constantly telling her about my problems. No, I should not tell her anything. She may get stressed," Shehnaaz thought.
Shehnaaz had just sat on the bed when she received a video call from Jasmine . Shehnaaz answered the call and posed a smile on her face. Jasmine gave her a flying kiss and asked, "Hey, my beautiful. How have you been?"
Shehnaaz smiled at the screen. Though the smile was forceful, "I am fine," she replied.
Shehnaaz didn't like video calls because they were very inconvenient for her to lie during.
"Jasmine would eventually get to know that I am lying and I am not fine at all,"she mumbled to herself.
And the same thing happened that Shehnaaz was scared of.
