Shehnaaz and Sidharth were on their way back home from the clinic when Sidharth suddenly stopped his car. Without any information,Sidharth stepped out of the car. It left Shehnaaz curious. She could do nothing except look at him going away to the other side of the road.
"This was too sudden. I didn't even get time to react or ask him. But, where did he go? Umm... He should have told me at least." She murmured to herself.
Since she was keeping an eye on him, Shehnaaz realised that Sidharth had gone to the supermarket. Soon, Shehnaaz saw him coming back towards the car. Sidharth was carrying a few bags in his hands.
"Oh... he had gone to get something. I wouldn't have had any issues if Sidharth had asked me to accompany him to the supermarket. Huh... but no... he chose to leave me alone here in the car," Shehnaaz thought.
Sidharth came back and got inside the car. He passed the bags to Shehnaaz. She took the bags from him and wondered what they contained.
Before she could peep into the bags, Shehnaaz moved her gaze to Sidharth and asked, "What is this? What have you got, Sidharth?"
He reciprocated a smile at Shehnaaz and answered, "Just open it and see for yourself."
Shehbaaz excitedly opened the bags and found that there were apples in one of them and ice cream and chocolates in the other. Shehnaaz jumped with joy, and the happiness on her face resembled that of a child. She was elated to have gotten the surprise from him.
"All of these are just for me..." She asked excitedly.
Sidharth could not resist smiling at her innocence.
"Do you see anybody else around here?" he remarked.
Shehnaaz passed on her glossiest smile and nodded her head in declination.
Immediately, she slid her hand into one of the bags and picked out a bar of chocolate. She unwrapped the chocolate bar and began eating it. Sidharth was delighted that he could make Shehnaaz smile, Shehnaaz was relishing her chocolate just as a kid would have eaten it. Sidharth smiled at Shehnaaz as she looked adorable. He started the car and drove ahead.
Shehnaaz had soon finished the chocolate. It gave her immense satisfaction, as she had been craving something sweet. After she had eaten the chocolate, Shehnaaz was now licking the leftover melted chocolate off of the wrapper. Sidharth had been stealing frequent glances at her while driving, and in one of these glances, he saw Shehnaaz licking the leftover chocolate from the wrapper. He found it weird but chose to remain silent.
After a while, Shehnaaz looked at him with a broad smile on her face. "Thank you so much, Sidharth, for this surprise. You are so sweet, Sidharth. I have been longing to satisfy my sweet tooth since this morning."
