Sidharth had given Shehnaaz the second check, Shehnaaz was astonished to receive a cheque for $30,000 and did not know what to do. She had sent the money back home. She was sitting on her balcony now, which was her favorite spot in the entire apartment. She used to spend most of her time sitting on the swing on the balcony. That evening, when Shehnaaz was sitting on the swing on the balcony, she called up her mother. wanted to know if they had received the amount or not.
After a few rings, her mother picked up the call, "Hey sweetheart, How have you been?" She asked.
"I am fine, mom. How is everything at home? And how's Dad?" Shehnaaz asked inquisitively.
"He is good... much better now. Everything is fine here too. Yesterday, we got the money that you had sent,"informed Shehnaaz's mom.
Hearing about his father's recovery, Shehnaaz was relieved.
"Oh, great mom. I am glad my dad is doing well. And I also called up to confirm whether you had got the money or not, and thank God you got it, "Shehnaaz exclaimed.
"Mom... I hope we don't have any crises and that we can repay all of the money we borrowed," she added.
"Yeah darling, Everything is sorted now. We have paid back everyone. No one is left. We cleared all our debts. Most of the things were sorted when you sent the money the last time. I am so grateful to God that things have fallen into place. And there was no need to send the money again. It was not required, dear. By the way, tell me 'honestly, are you alright? I hope you have not landed yourself in any trouble to meet our financial needs, Shehnaaz?" her mother inquired.
Shehnaaz was taken aback by hearing her mother's question. She immediately made her voice a little louder to sound confident and replied, "No mom, I don't have any problems, nor have I put myself into any trouble. It's just that I am new to this job and I have been overburdened with a lot of work lately. There is nothing major as such."
"Okay, darling. But, take care of yourself, okay? We are always concerned about you, "her mom expressed.

Shehnaaz was surprised to see Sidharth standing before her. She pulled herself straight and answered his question."Yeah, I'm good. You tell me, how come you are home so early?"
She had observed that Sidharth would leave home after breakfast and come back late at night or even the next morning. However, it was merely six in the evening when he came home today.
