"What I find interesting is that it doesn't feel like just his or her story, it's their story. Two stories that intertwine into one."
Cedric said to himself. Since Circe was gone, his only company was Felix, but it seemed that not even the cat would listen to his long monologues about the book.
The book, every day it became more interesting. It had so much love, and at the same time pain and mystery. This Fairy Tale was different from the others. It was really Circe who put them together, Cedric found that out a few days ago, he was grateful he didn't have to tell her. Did the book shape itself from her or did she make herself from the pages? Hard to say. However, it was clear how important the Enchantress was in the lives of these two.
"The two will grow up in opposite worlds. He will naturalize in an idealized place, full of beauty and a false perfection, while she will have to find grace in an environment of terror and will be forced to get used to a world, which she believes to be hers."

United States of Auradon
There was not a single day that Adam did not find himself frightened of Circe, although his son grew up like any normal child, his heart could not get peace, imagining that at some point something terrible would happen.
Prince Benjamin was a normal child, as much as possible, since, the weight of the crown rested on him. The boy hurt his knee, fell off his bike, was afraid of monsters under the bed, while taking riding lessons, piano lessons, table manners, and lessons in three different languages.
Amidst the contradictions, it was still frightening to imagine that one day Ben might wake up and be full of body hair and horns.
"Good morning Lumiere."
The little boy smiled and ran down the banister of the staircase
"Good morning prince." The butler replied and not even paying attention to the little boy coming down the dangerous iron, "Or, wait!"
"See you downstairs Lumiere."
He continued down the stairs with a beaming smile
"I got you!"
Adam took his little son in his arms.
Benjamin was a beautiful little boy with brown almost green eyes, hair of the same shade that always fell into his eyes, besides being very restless, but he was gentle, polite and cheerful like his mother.
"Dad."
He complained sadly at the end of the game.
"What's this Ben? A future king should not be running around the castle."
These words would always haunt him: "A future king shouldn't act like this", after all, what exactly is the posture of a king? It certainly wasn't his.
"Daddy what's there?"
He pointed outside the window where there was a dense cloud over a small island.
"It's the Isle of the Lost."
He answered soothingly.
"Who lives there?"
"The villains. You know, the one who almost stole Aladdin's lamp or that idiot who almost stole mommy from me."
"And why are they there?"
"To pay his debts to our people Ben."
"And they can't leave, Daddy?"
"No, rest assured they have never left there. There is a barrier that protects us."
Adam believed that his son's questions were about security and that he was afraid of some invasion or something, but Ben's curiosity about what was beyond the kingdom was more than that. The father only wanted his son's protection, his greatest wish was that Ben would have the best life possible, until the day he would take the crown and live for the monarchy.
