As soon as they arrived at Maurice's old house Ben tried to show his chivalry and take Evie on his lap, but the act was not well received by any of the boys, so with all the care Jay could muster he took the girl in his arms and walked to the house.

"Doug, can you call your cousin, she's studying medicine, right?"

Ben asked his friend, who already picked up his cell phone to make the call.

Doug had so many cousins and the prince's good memory made him remember that one of them was studying medicine. Tomorrow was their prom and those were boys from the Island of the Lost, knowing their people, it would be hard for a doctor to agree to go there.

"Is it going to take long? I thought it wasn't hurting so much, but now that I've put my foot down, it's hurting like hell."

Evie complained to them.

"No, Clara will be here in fifteen minutes.

"Evie, I just wanted to apologize again." The four of them rolled their eyes at the prince. They weren't very used to acts of regret. "I swear I didn't mean to do that to you or you guys, really."

"Okay, I guess."

The Evil Queen's daughter exchanged glances with her friends trying to figure out how to act on that.

"Man, what were you doing there on the Isle?"

Carlos asked something that none of them had stopped to think about yet.

"It's True, what was the son of Beauty and the Beast doing on the Island of the Lost?"

Jay pointed out with doubt.

"Yeah, that...that..."

Ben didn't know how to explain that he was playing a prank on his friends in celebration of his birthday.

"It was a bet. We wagered Ben to cross the bridge, however he unwittingly ended up going inside."

"And you accepted?

Mal already thought him naive and foolish, but this was too much for her evil little mind.

"Foolishness, I know."

Doug's cousin, Clara, was carefully examining Evie. As a friend of Ben and the others she didn't even ask who it was or why these strangely attired people were there with their birthday being the other day

During this time Ben exchanged glances with Mal. Nothing romantic, they were judgmental and intimidating looks really. She was in enemy territory, even though, it was considerably beautiful territory compared to her home, it was still dangerous to be in this environment.

"You can go if you want, we'll take over around here."

Lonnie whispered to Ben, while Clara continued to examine. She knew that the prince had commitments.

"No, it's fine."

Mal obviously noticed those buzzing among them. His story was still strange to her. A prince, son of the king of Auradon certainly shouldn't be in the house of villains. Mal didn't trust anyone, and she certainly didn't trust Ben.

"Well, she does appear to have a fractured leg, but an MRI is needed to be sure. To be more precise about the diagnosis, you should take her to a real doctor, not a student." Clara was straight with them. Honestly, it was expected. Evie had been run over by a limousine; you could say that a fractured leg was a miracle. "But the whole kingdom is a complete mess today."
