This fairy tale is about a love story, love between a father and a daughter, a man's love for his country, love between a mortal and a goddess, the love for magic, a woman's lack of love for everyone else. Love. It is a love story.

Greece was not a very big place, in fact with the growth of the other kingdoms it was possible that it would soon cease to exist. Mount Olympus on the other hand, it would never cease to exist. It could pass the decades, kingdoms could change and forms of government could reinvent themselves and Mount Olympus would live on.

"Maly!"

The god of the Underworld called out to his daughter, as he futilely tried to reach her.

"No."

The sixteen, almost seventeen-year-old ignored him and walked back out of the house.

"For love how can you be so obstinate?"

"Like my father." She answered him. "Dad, it's just a quick outing, there's nothing you need to worry about." She walked over to the blue haired man and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"There's nothing I need to worry about? I have an A to J list of everything I can worry about."

"A to J? But..."

"I didn't have time to finish."

"You're really out of your mind."

"What can I say? The death rate is pretty low lately."

Hades might be well missed as a god of the Underworld, but as a father he was always there. He was good at being a father.

"You know I'm not going to the other side of the world, I just want to see and know other places. I want to know what it's like to live up there. Dad, it's amazing here, but I need to live before I want to become the Queen of the Underworld."

"I know." He hugged his little girl. "I know, it's just difficult to accept that you're so big and that I'm retiring. How did you get so big?"

"Well, if it helps that I can't die then I'm not growing to death."

"Good point."

"Anyway." He laced his little finger on his finger. "We'll always be together."

"Always. Now go, before I regret it. Maly, don't forget, When the sun's glare crack..."

"it's time to come back."

One last kiss on the cheek and she was gone.

Hades gave everything to his daughter. Everything he could and could not. But the freedom to know all the worlds was something he could not give her, so one day, for one day only, Hades allowed his daughter to go to the human kingdom.

In the small villages of Greece everything was normal. Nothing impressed them too much or caught their attention enough to change their routines. When the daughter of Hades, the girl with unusual hair, sparkling green eyes and white skin stepped into the small village shrouded in blue smoke, the villagers looked and watched, but it was only a matter of seconds, then they went back to their tasks and carried on as if everything was normal.

Maly was not a normal girl, the first point, she was a mortal, the young girl was a goddess, 100% not human. Maybe if they knew she was heir to the realm of the dead, they would possibly fear her more.

The girl was enchanted and her eyesight was a little bruised. Her house did not receive much of a visit from the sun, she saw and admired it from afar, but nothing like this. The sun was strong and on her white skin it almost hurt, but she was still in awe. So many people, so many colors, things she didn't know, even though the day was getting late and night was coming, the sun was still strong.
