To everyone's joy tomorrow would be the Vk's last day in Auradon. Ben's parents would arrive and before they had a chance to ask anything, the four visitors would already be back in their homes.

Mal was in the room together with Evie talking, or rather, the blue haired girl was talking and Mal was listening. The daughter of Maleficent wandered in her thoughts. She didn't want to raise theories, she was just trying to understand what was going on, she wanted to understand, because she felt that Ben's voice was familiar to her. The two had talked for a while and she was still not sure of the boy's kindness, however the familiarity of his voice caught her attention. As if it were a familiar tune.

It might be impossible, but she began to wonder if he was the man of her dreams.

"And Maleficent?"

When she heard that name Mal turned her attention back to Evie.

"What about my mother?"

Mal asked returning to reality and the conversation.

"Will she punish you for spending three days away from home?"

"If she notices that I left, maybe."

"I still can't believe we came to Auradon."

"Neither can I, I just want to pretend that this day was just a dream."

"I don't want to forget, I dreamed for years about this kingdom."

"Why would you dream of Auradon?"

Evie might be the planning of a princess, but dreaming of this place was too much even for her.

"Why not? Look around you Mal, not of garbage everywhere or people screaming." As far as Mal knew she loved that. "There's plenty of food here and especially freedom." Now that was what attracted the attention of Maleficent's daughter, freedom. "You don't have a barrier around you, you can go wherever you want, there's nothing stopping you."

That's when Mal thought that this had always been her mother's dream, even though she said she hated every person in this kingdom, Maleficent always longed to be here, and during this time Mal didn't take advantage of the opportunity she gained to wander this place.

It was almost three in the morning and there were still two people awake. She thinking about the waste of time and evil she had during those days. Once her mother knew this, she would surely be the dragon himself incarnate and for a change she would be a disappointment to the mistress of all evil.

The prince was also wandering in his thoughts. He was thinking about the meeting he had, how could he be so clumsy in speaking to the meeting with the council? He would only have to repeat words already laid out on paper, but he failed when two dukes started talking about topics that were not marked on the papers. His father would not be happy to find out that they wanted to postpone the coronation, again. He would disappoint his father, this is not a normal thing for him.

Mal didn't know how to walk in the castle, so she limited herself to walking only as far as the end of the corridor to the room she had been in with Ben earlier. For a brightly lit castle they should have put light on so she wouldn't trip over the armor of a centuries-old army that was laid out in the hallway.

Meanwhile Benjamin was going to the kitchen for a glass of milk when he heard a noise and ran to see what it was. He found Mal lying next to the iron armor

"Mal?" He asked without understanding what she was doing there "What are you doing there on the floor?"

"What do you think?"
