Hi guys, let me know what you think of the story so far. Is it too confusing or hard to understand? I know it's different from the movie, but I hope you like it.

United States of Auradon

How to explain the desires if they couldn't even name the strange dreams?

In a cold sweat Ben woke up in a jolt in bed. Unsure and ignoring his rational side he grabbed his coat, the keys to his motorcycle and his house, for he would have to go there and get the control barrier.

"Ben? Where are you going? It's past curfew."

One of the watchmen startled the hurried and nervous boy. However, he got no answer, because the prince hurried out into the school garage.

One minute he was dreaming about kissing Mal, and the next he was on his motorcycle to race to the girl of his dreams. What was happening to him?

(...)

Isle of the Lost

It was not the first time the prince had gone to the island, but it could be the most dangerous time. May all the gods, fairies and other magical creatures help him when he crossed that barrier. It was easy to enter the castle and take control of the limo driver, the difficulty would come when the golden bridge appeared and the barrier would fall.

Mal was completely startled when her green eyes opened and she was alone in her room. She didn't have a watch, but she thought it was more than one o'clock in the morning. She grabbed her jacket, her inseparable pocket knife, which would be useful in this dark island.

Not even she knew exactly where she was going, when she found herself near the barrier, in the same place where weeks before a huge car had run over her friend and she found herself in a great existential paradox.

If she remembered the dream correctly it was, she who stood on tiptoe to kiss the guy. And again, it had been good and she wished again. He said he would come to see her and following her wish she believed it was true and went to the only part of the Island the boy knew.

When he got there everything was dark, as expected at that time of night and colder than it was at his home. For a moment Mal thought she was going crazy and that she was wrong to get out of her bed to see someone who existed only in her dreams. However, as she was making her way back, she felt someone pulling her by the arm and grabbing her waist. Her protective instinct was already going towards the pocket knife, but in the dark she saw the two brown eyes that were familiar to her.

"You came."

Mal spoke relieved to see that she wasn't crazy and that the boy was there.

"I wanted to see you." Ben spoke catching his breath. "You're driving me crazy Mal."

"Did anyone see you when you came in?"

She changed the subject, worried that someone had seen the son of their biggest enemy go in there.

"I hope not. I guess I didn't even think about it. Isn't there someplace we can talk in peace? Without me being afraid that some super villain is going to come and kill me."

"Yes, there is, and I think you'd better take off this jacket."

"But it's getting cold." He complained, but took off his clothes with the Auradon emblem. "Where are we going?"

She led him to her hiding place, which was not far from there.

"Okay, it's safer here."

"Good."
