Camelot

In the morning Ben was the first to wake up, he saw Mal still asleep lying on his left arm. She looked as if she was cold.

Ben recorded that last image of her in his mind. She was sleeping with a smile that let her dimple show, her messy hair falling to her eyes, and her hands clasped together. He was going to say it, but he resisted speaking those three words. She let the three words she really wanted to speak remain stuck.

"It was nice to meet you, Princess Maleficent."

He said low in her ear. He ran his fingers gently over her face and gave her one last kiss.

When Mal woke up, she found herself lying alone on the grass. He was gone. Now it was over, it had come to an end.

"Good morning." Merlin appeared behind her and said quietly. The good lord was either there watching the lake or waiting for her to wake up. "Would you like some coffee? It helps to wake up." Mal was still reasoning about everything. Waking up, Ben being gone forever, going home. on the Island. "He's gone, if that's what you want to know. Rashid went to take him a few minutes ago. From here to Auradon is a bit far and Rashid is too tired to take two people at once. In a few minutes he will arrive and take you to the Island of the Lost. Again, do you want coffee?"

Auradon City

"Have a nice life, kid."

Rashid said saying goodbye to Ben.

"Wait, aren't you going back to being a teacher?"

"Noble Prince, I am from Wonderland, from the bottom of your heart do you really think I was born to be a teacher?"

"No, I don't think so. It was nice to meet you."

He held out his hand to greet him.

"I say the same."

"Rashid, can I ask you one last favor?"

He was already leaving to go back to his castle

"You got it kid. I'll take it in peace." I knew Ben was talking about Mal. "But, can I ask you a favor too?" He nodded. "Think about whether this is exactly what you want. The world doesn't need another spoiled prince, but I think a good man who knows what he wants and sees the good in people...it would be interesting to see someone like that with the crown."

With that said Ben watched the cat man disappear right before his eyes. It was time to face the world as it is, that is, without books, magic, or true loves.

"Prince Ben! Thanks, where have you been?"

Cogsworth as soon as he saw the boy hugged him quickly as if he was going to disappear in that instant.

"Relax Cogsworth I'm fine, it's serious."

"Your parents were worried sick. How do you disappear like that?"

"Calm down, it's okay. He's looking like a real beast, isn't he?"

He asked about his father.

"I wouldn't say he's a beast, he's your father and..." Ben looked at the ex-clock searching for the truth. "Yes, he's extremely angry with you.

"Well, we have to face it."

He walked to the castle doors thinking about how to explain to his parents.

"Ben, finally."

Belle said hugging her son tightly.

"You can call off the search." The king said to Cogsworth. "We finally found you." Adam said hugging him tightly as well.
