"The Book of Fairy Tales writes everything about that world. He wrote all the stories that everyone knew."

Merlin explained calmly.

"What do you mean, "the stories we know?"

Ben asked remembering that the "stories "were actually his family's past.

"Everything. From the moment Snow White's father started blaming his daughter for his wife's death to the moment she brought the mirror faced to his castle."

Cedric said.

"Where is that written?"

Ben asked not knowing that story.

"The Book wrote it."

"Ok, I'm not a fan of these stories, but what do you mean the book wrote it? One person wrote it?"

Mal just wanted to leave, so she wasn't excited to hear that story.

"Not really." Merlin several years ago was a guardian, so he should be careful about everything he said. "The book writes itself. There was never a specific person who wrote it."

"So, you want me to believe that a book, an inanimate object is capable of writing itself?"

Ben asked, being incredulous about what he said regarding magic.

"Yes."

"The thing is, every time a story starts the book chooses a guardian to protect it. "Mal paid attention to everything and even though she grew up in an environment without magic, she was a big believer in the magical world. "So, Snow White, since we're talking about her, her story began to be written when the Wicked Queen, that is, Grimhilde was born, and it was at that moment that guardian appeared."

"A guardian appears solely for the purpose of protecting the Book. Should you want to take other directions when the story ends, that's fine, but until the Book writes "end" your mission is to take care of it."

Rashid completed the explanation

"Wait, so this Book knows what made my mother curse the little pink princess there?"

"Yes, the Book knows everything."

"Ok, powerful Book, we get it, but again, where do we, you mean me and Mal fit into this?"

Ben was totally skeptical and was impatient with this whole situation.

"Then the story gets complicated." Rashid said low. "Twenty years ago, the book wrote itself again. The last story had been Rapunzel's, and that was a long time ago. However, twenty years ago a guardian was chosen and a new story written."

"And that guardian from what I understand, is Cedric?"

Mal asked attentive to the story

"Yes, Cedric is guardian of that history."

Rashid and Merlin were looking at each other worried and unsure whether or not they could tell the whole plot

"Could you guys stop making those faces and mouths and explain the whole story?"

The purple haired girl asked.

"Ok, you know what, I couldn't care less, I'm not a guardian and the thing is getting more and more dangerous by the minute." Rashid said angry at having to control his words. "Here's the thing twenty years ago, a sorceress entered a king's castle and delivered a prophecy that basically said that his son would put an end to his reign, and that two worlds would meet."

"Rashid be careful what you..."

Merlin calmly asked.

"No! Cedric knew that the story would be different from all the others and that the Book would write about a true love, but one that would have nothing to do with anything this world was used to."
