minji thought that after making out with y/n in the showers would make y/n exclusively hers. but y/n would ignore her in the school hallway.
they still continued having secret sessions in the locker room but y/n remained distant on the outside.
minji looked and saw y/n talking to hanni. again.
she saw hanni grabbing y/n's hand and narrowed her eyes at that. but as soon as y/n noticed minji's intense gaze, she quickly pulled her hand away from hanni.
minji made her way towards them and y/n immediately stood up and pulled minji away, fearing that she will harm hanni.
"y/n, I thought I made it clear."
"minji, you need to understand that just because we make out, doesn't mean we are together."
"you were literally the one checking me out!"
"I was checking you out, not asking you out."
minji huffed and crossed her arms, feeling frustrated and rejected. she had assumed that their physical intimacy meant something more, but apparently, y/n didn't see it that way.
y/n turned to leave but minji pulled her back.
"where are you going?"
"I have somewhere to be with hanni later, I can't stay too long," y/n grumbled at minji.
minji's expression softened slightly as she realized that her jealousy was getting the best of her. "I'm sorry, y/n. I just...I thought maybe we had something special."
y/n sighed and shook her head. "we do have something special, but it doesn't have to mean we're in a relationship. can't we just enjoy each other's company without labels?"
"no! what's the point if us constantly making out?"

"I am so done with you!"
"do you think I am not tired? if only I knew you were this possessive, I wouldn't even have wanted to start something with you."
they remained silent, staring at each other angrily.
minji broke the silence by rushing towards y/n and slamming her against the locker. she aggressively pressed her lips against y/n's
y/n returned her kiss, her hand sliding up minji's waist.
"if you can kiss me, why can't we be together?" minji asked as she pulled away.
"I'm just... not ready to be in a relationship," y/n replied, rubbing her thumb on minji's bottom lip.
minii leaned her forehead against y/n's, her breaths coming out in short gasps. "but I am. I want to be with you, y/n. I don't want to hide my feelings anymore."

"okay," y/n finally said, her voice barely above a whisper. "let's try this. but we have to promise to be honest with each other, okay?"
minji smiled, a look of relief spreading across her face. "of course. I promise to always be honest with you."
minji leaned in to give y/n another kiss. she deepened the kiss and they slowly made their way to the showers again, their bodies pressing against each other as they moved.
they reached the showers and minji turned on the water, pulling y/n in with her.
she slowly removed her shirt and helped y/n with hers.
