minji was on the train home from school when she noticed a man standing too close to her. she felt uncomfortable and tried to move away, but the train was packed. the man continued to inch closer to her, and she felt his breath on the back of her neck.
suddenly, she felt someone push the man away. it was y/n, her schoolmate. "back off," y/n growled, standing protectively in front of minji.
y/n's eyes burned with anger as she glared at the man who refused to leave minji alone. she stepped in between them, shielding minji from the man's leering gaze.
"listen here, old man," y/n growled, her voice low and menacing. "if you don't back off right now, i'm going to make sure you regret it."
the man scoffed and took a step closer, ignoring the warning in y/n's voice. "what are you going to do?" he sneered. "you're just a girl."
"i could chop off that little pea in between your legs. you wouldn't like that would you? it would be dripping red instead of white."
the man's eyes widened in fear, and he took a step back. he seemed to realize that y/n was not to be trifled with, and he quickly backed away, disappearing into the crowd.
y/n turned to minji and asked, "are you okay?"
minji's heart was pounding in her chest. she had always had a crush on y/n, and seeing her protect her made her heart flutter. "yes, thank you," she replied, her voice shaking slightly.
y/n gave her a small smile and said, "no problem. don't worry about it."
minji felt grateful and embarrassed at the same time. she couldn't believe that y/n had seen her in such a vulnerable state.
but she also couldn't help feeling a sense of admiration for y/n. she had always known that y/n was a strong and independent person, but seeing her in action was something else entirely.
"y/n, thank you so much," minji said, her voice barely above a whisper.
y/n turned to her and grinned. "i'm just glad i was there to help. you should always stand up for yourself, but if you ever need me, i'm here."
minji's heart skipped a beat at the thought of y/n being there for her. she had always been too shy to confess her feelings to y/n, but now, she felt like she had a chance.
as the train pulled into minji's stop, she turned to y/n and said, "do you want to come over to my place for a bit? we could hang out and talk some more."
y/n paused for a moment before smiling and nodding. "sure, that sounds great."
minji led y/n to her apartment, feeling nervous and excited at the same time. they sat down on the couch, and minji offered y/n a drink.
as they sipped their drinks, they chatted, trying to get to know each other better. minji couldn't help but steal glances at y/n, admiring her beauty and her confidence.
y/n noticed her staring and grinned. "what?" she asked.
minji blushed and looked away. "nothing," she muttered.
y/n chuckled. "you know, minji, i've always thought you were really cute."
minji's heart leaped in her chest. had y/n just confessed to her?
y/n took a deep breath and continued. "we haven't really talked in school, and i didn't know how to tell you."
minji felt like she was in a dream. the girl she had been crushing on for so long was confessing her feelings to her.
she took a deep breath and looked into y/n's eyes. "y/n, i've liked you for so long, but i never had the courage to tell you. i'm so happy you feel the same way."
y/n leaned in and kissed minji softly on the lips. minji's heart raced as she kissed y/n back, feeling like she was finally living her dream.
they pulled away and smiled at each other. "so, what do we do now?" minji asked, her voice trembling.
y/n grinned. "we take it one step at a time. we can start by going on a real date, just the two of us."
minji felt like she was on cloud nine. she had always dreamed of being with y/n, and now, that dream was becoming a reality.
as they cuddled on the couch, minji felt safe and loved in y/n's arms.
