y/n and minji had been friends for years, ever since they met in college. they had been through everything together, from late-night study sessions to wild parties. they were the kind of friends who were always there for each other, no matter what.

one evening, they decided to have a girls' night in. they ordered pizza, put on their comfiest pajamas, and settled in for a night of movies and popcorn.

as they watched the movie, y/n couldn't help but be her usual clingy self. she was constantly hugging minji, holding her hand, and kissing her cheeks. at first, minji was a little taken aback by this behavior, but she soon realized that it made her heart flutter in a way that she had never felt before.

she had always had a crush on y/n, but she had never acted on it because she didn't want to ruin their friendship. but now, as y/n snuggled up to her on the couch, she couldn't help but feel a surge of emotion.

as the night wore on, y/n fell asleep on minji's shoulder. minji couldn't help but stare at her, taking in every detail of her face. she was beautiful, with her long lashes and soft features. she was everything that minji had ever wanted in a partner.

but she knew that she could never tell y/n how she felt. she was too afraid of ruining their friendship, of losing the oneperson who had always been there for her.

the rest of the night passed in a blur, and soon it was morning. y/n woke up with a smile on her face, still snuggled up to minji on the couch. "good morning," she said, her voice groggy.

"good morning," minji replied, trying to hide the blush on her cheeks.

they spent the rest of the day together, doing their usual activities. but now, every time y/n hugged her or held her hand, minji's heart fluttered. she knew that she had to tell y/n how she felt, even if it meant risking their friendship.

finally, as they were walking home from a coffee shop, minji took a deep breath and spoke. "y/n, i need to tell you something," she said, her voice shaking.

y/n turned to her, a concerned look on her face. "what is it, minji?"

"i...i have feelings for you," minji said, her voice barely above a whisper.

"you do?" she said, her voice filled with happiness.

minji nodded, oblivious to y/n's tone, feeling tears prick at the corners of her eyes. "i know it's crazy, and i don't want to ruin our friendship, but i just had to tell you," she said.

y/n took her hand, her eyes shining with emotion. "minji, you could never ruin our friendship. i have feelings for you too," she said, pulling minji into a tender embrace.

minji couldn't believe what she was hearing. she had always dreamed of this moment, but she never thought it would actually happen. she buried her face in y/n's shoulder, feeling tears of joy and relief stream down her face.

for the rest of the day, they talked about their feelings, their hopes, and their dreams. they knew that their relationship would be different now, but they were both excited to see where it would go.

as they said goodbye that night, y/n leaned in and kissed minji softly on the lips. it was a simple kiss, but it was filled with everything that they had ever wanted to say to each other.

from that moment on, their friendship blossomed into something more. they were no longer just friends, but partners in every sense of the word. and minji knew that she had taken the biggest risk of her life, but it had all been worth it for the love that she had found with y/n.
