🍃Legolas point of view🍃
I don't understand why she thought I was dead. She is still crying so I wrap my arms around her.
A: Ow!
She yells. I let go of her immediately.
L: What did I do? Where does it hurt? Are you okay? Is there something I can do? Should...
A: I am fine, it just hurts in my shoulder. I harmed it when I crashed into the door.
She interrupts. But she is pale and cold, very cold.
L: You need to see a healer.
I say and gently grab her and stand up. She leans her head against my shoulder and close her eyes. I walk out of the dungeon with her in my arms.
L: Send one of the healers to my chambers and tell my father what happened.
I command and the guards run away to fulfil it. Soon I've reached my chambers and one of the elf-maids opens the door for me. I carefully put down Amarië in my bed. She has fallen asleep. I stroke away some strands of hair from her face.
Elf: My lord, the king is waiting for you outside your chambers.
I nod, but before leaving I kiss her forehead and wisper;
L: I will be back soon.
