Kelsey's POV

It's April Fools Day. Lexi and I are planning some hilarious pranks to make April Fools Day fun. We have a few planned out. Our first victim is Hugh. We aren't going to mess with him too badly, just poking fun. Hugh just got a new car. We're just going to sneak some things into the car. Lexi and I shake on it and I go to get Hugh's keys. I step into the kitchen and then see his keys sitting on the counter. I snatch them up and put them in my pocket. Lexi and I are about to leave the house to go to his car in the garage when Hugh stops us.

"Hey, Lexi, Kelsey, have either of you seen my keys? I was thinking about getting some Pretty Coffee for myself and Adelaine." Hugh requests.

"We haven't, but we'll keep an eye out for it," I reply.

"You don't need any more of those sugary espresso drinks." Lexi teases.

"I... I know... but I like them." He mutters, his cheeks going red.

"You can't have too many," I warn.

"Adelaine would love me no matter what, no matter how I look," Hugh replies.

"Well we know that, but just be careful," Lexi says.

"I'm going to go look for my keys." He murmurs, walking away.

With a jingle of his keys, we giggle and hurry out to his car. Lexi had a small bag with her full of prank supplies. I go to his car and then unlock it and open the door. I lean my head in, checking for security cameras. I check the dash and the glove compartment, just being careful. Oh, oh my. I go to open the glove compartment and then find a box of condoms. They were big size... XL... I go bright red and close the glove compartment. Lexi looks at me, a smirk on her face.

"You found the condoms, yes?" She asks.

"Yes. Condoms, a lot of them. A whole box." I answer.

"Well, couples do like to make out intensely, and that's normal, as long as they're safe like Hugh was with the condoms." She let me know.

"I don't have a boyfriend and like being single," I remark.

"I don't want to add or touch anything else in this car..." Lexi murmurs.

"I'm going to put the whoopie cushions and the pie in here and then let's get out," I reply.

Lexi nods. I rummage through her bag and then get the whoopie cushions out. I get on the floor of the car and lean under the seats. Once I felt like my arm was far and deep enough under the seat to where it probably wouldn't be found easily, I left the cushions there. Sick of the new car smell, the two of us also gave Hugh's car a new scent. Lexi hands me a few cherry-pie-scented car tags. I hid them around the car, and they were pretty strong, so the car was smelling a lot like cherry pie. Delicious!

I duck back out of the car and Lexi meets eyes with me. Lexi laughs and the two of us high-five. The two of us head out back into the house. Hugh looks at us, biting his lip. Adelaine was accompanying him, kissing his cheek.

"Kelsey, did you see my key out there? I searched this whole house and I couldn't find my car keys." Hugh mumbles.

"Oh, I found them in the garage." I hum.

Hugh's face brightened. "Brilliant!"

"We might have to go get those Pretty Coffee drinks when I get back," Adelaine says.

"Why?" Hugh questions, his face falling again.

"Oh, are you going to Diana's appointment?" I inquire.
