May contain death, but I wanted to make it as accurate as possible.
In the year 2000, a giant feud broke out in Russia in a small town between the two most prominent families. The Karams were the more violent, and they settled things with their fists. The Romanovas were more of thee non-violent type. They fought with their words and loved to play mind games, but of course they still had weapons.
Each family was set up with the bosses at the head. Natasha Romanova at the head of the Romanovas. The head of the Karams is more secretive, so we don't know his name. The Romanovas have many members, but Marina seemed to be the most promising. The Karams are also many, but their most promising members of their little clan seem to be Lily and Jonah.
Jonah's POV
I sigh, still holding the photo of my ex in hand. My sister, Lily, and my best friend, Carmen Martinez, at my side.
"I can't believe that she left me for another guy."- I say.
"Yeah, I mean that's pretty heartless."- Lily replies.
"Why would she want to leave me though? I mean I'm virtually perfect! I'm good with weapons, I'm pretty high up on the looks scale, and I can scare of anyone with a single look."- I reply back.
"She doesn't matetr anymore though! You can find a new girl at the masquerade ball tonight, at the Romanovas."- Carmen says, trying to cheer me up.
I sighed. "Sure. What have I got to lose?"- I reply.
"Yeah! Tonight's going to be awesome!"- She says.
With that, we get up and leave. When we get back, we prepare for the ball.
Marina'a POV
I sit on my bed, reading a book on the human brain. My mother walks into the room, here we go again.
"Put the book down, we have important matters to discuss."- She says, crossing her arms.
I save my place with my bookmark, and then put the book down.
I look up at her, "If it's about marrying Archer then I don't care."
"He will bring riches and honor to our family. You'll meet him tonight and that's final."- She says, now leaving my room.
I sigh. The ball is in a few hours. I probably should get ready. I walk over to my closet, and pick out the most dazzling, sparkly, blue dress that I owned. I put it on and then I sat on my bed. Guess I should make a mask too. It's better that I won't be recognized. I grab a fake plastic white mask and paint it blue. Then I lined it with sequin jewels and glitter. In the corner, above the right eye, I glue feathers that stick out and seal it by gluing a sapphire on top. Now all I have to wait for is the glue to dry. It should be ready before the party at 8, after all, it's only 5 now. I open up my book, and resume reading.
Jonah's POV
I stand at my closet, not knowing what to wear.
"Carmen could you give me some help? Your kinda an expert in this stuff."- I say, holding a red suit in hand.
"You could just wear what you have in your hand. That looks fine."- Carmen says.
"This party is going to be awesome! And you'd look great in that by the way."- Lily says, starting to make our masks.
"Okay thanks for your input."- I replied.
I change from my normal clothes into the suit I held in my hands. I then sit on my bed and watch Lily cover our masks in red glitter and sequins. There really sparkly. She glues feathers everywhere. It sure is going to take a long time for them to dry. I then started to get bored.
