Saving My Angel

Lar's POV

I open my eyes to find the room still dark. Huh? I sit up but don't feel the covers fall off. Jack must be hogging the blankets. I reach around to see if I could grab him, wanting to wrap my arms around him. I don't feel anything and I can't see anything either. I wave my hands around. He's probably in the bathroom.

"Jack! You know you could put the blankets back when you leave the bed!" I call out.

I don't get an instant response. I wait, humming for him to probably finish up. A few minutes go by and he still doesn't respond. Maybe he went downstairs to come back and surprise me with coffee or breakfast?

"Babe? Could you turn the light on? Where'd you go? Could you hand me my phone? It's kinda dark here." I say.

It suddenly gets very bright as light fills the room. It's blinding. I close my eyes, rubbing them with my hands. I put my hands down and feel my heart drop out of my chest. I wasn't in our bedroom. I was in a dingy and gross room. There was someone in front of me. I saw a pair of legs in front of me, I couldn't see their faces from my kneeled position.

"Where... where am I?" I whisper.

"Stop calling for Jack! He isn't going to help you! You are all mine now." A voice growls.

A hand grabs my chin, tilting my head up to look at the person. My heart breaks. Angela is standing in front of me, smiling down at me. She begins to caress my cheek and stroke my hair. I begin to shake, fearful of what she's going to do to me.

"Where am I? Why have you taken me from our bedroom? What... what are you going to do to me?" I ask.

"What does it look like? I kidnapped you, Lars." Angela replies.

"Why?" I murmur.

"I know what you've done. You aren't going to get away from me that easily." She scoffs.

"You murdered someone, broke my heart, and our girls don't have a mother." I snap.

"And you had the gaul to replace me!! You call Jack 'babe' now! How could you replace me with a man?! Really, Lars?!" Angela yells.

"I'm allowed to move on! Let me go!" I reply.

I move to stand up and I fall back down. I try to fight with whatever is restricting me and discover that I've been chained up, having been handcuffed. My eyes widen.

"Angela! Why did you handcuff me?!" I exclaim.

"I'm not going to let you run away from me again... I've always been there for you and I always will be!" Angela snarls.

"Let me go! The Bureau will find me and Jack will save me!" I retort.

Angela hits me, striking me right in the face. I go from sitting on my knees to lying on the ground. I hissed in pain, rubbing my cheek. That's going to bruise later. I stare at her.

"I should have never married you," I state.

"I will never leave you. I've always been by your side, ever since I met you when we were in college. I've been obsessed with you ever since I laid eyes on you." She coos, resuming to play with my hair.

"Angela, what?" I mutter.

"Oh, you never knew? I stalked you every day when we were in college together. I must be really good at it for you to know since I told you!" Angela giggles.

"You did what?!" I was astonished.

"And now I'll never let you go!" She replies.

Jack's POV

I wake up in a cold bed. I sit up, looking around for the love of my life. He wasn't in bed, which was unusual. Lars is the one to sleep in. Normally I am the one who's up first, but he's nowhere. I hop out of bed and walk over to the bathroom. I knock, calling out for my man. He doesn't respond. I opened the door and the bathroom was empty, not even the shower was running. I leave the bathroom and freeze. Lars' phone was sitting on his nightstand. He would never go anywhere without it. I hurry downstairs, a bad feeling in my stomach. I don't make it into the break room though, running into Elliot. He realized that it was me and grabbed my shoulders.

"Jack, Lars was kidnapped last night!" Elliot exclaims.

I blink, not wanting to believe what he was saying. "W-What?!"

"Yes, I saw it happen on CCTV! Angela kidnapped him!" He replies.

"Oh my god! We have to find him!" I say.

"I know, but I think I know where to find him. I was listening to their conversation and she mentioned a building by name." Elliot hums.

"Where?! If she lays a finger on him, we're going to have problems!" I shout.

"Well, let's go find him before she does!" He agrees.

When Elliot told me and the rest of the team the location of the building, we went to it immediately. I had my gun on me. With one wrong move, Angela was going to get it! Jonah busts down the door and I was furious at the scene before me. Lars was handcuffed and had chains around his ankles. Before anyone could do anything, I tackled Angela to the ground. I got punched a few times but I gave her a few punches back. I flipped her over and handcuffed her. I lifted her up and Carmen took her away. I dash over to Lars, who smiled at me.

"Babe, are you okay?" I ask.

"You're here, I'm okay," Lars replies.

"Are you sure? Your face is bruised." I murmur.

"It's because she punched me." He answers.

"She what?! That son of a-" I start but he cut me off.

"You already arrested her and punched her, just get me out of these handcuffs." Lars cuts me off.

"Of course, sweetheart," I reply.

I dig into my pocket and get a handcuff key. I unlock the handcuff and then take the handcuffs off. I try the key on his ankle chains and it works. The chains fall off and I scoop him up into my arms. He hugs me and I kiss him.

"Thank you for rescuing me, so heroic." Lars gushes.

"Your welcome, your knight in shining armor is here and will do it all over again just for you," I promise.

He kisses me on the forehead. "I know, if it was you, I would do the same thing."

"So, after we bring Angels back to the HQ, would you like to get breakfast? To get your mind off of what happened?" I suggest.

"Yes! Pancakes?" Lars responds.

"Definitely pancakes." I agree.

He smiles. I smile. I'm so happy that he's alright. With plans for breakfast made, we go to join the others outside, hand in hand.
