i notice it when i enter the medical bay. i feel it from every soldier at every medical table. they know what i can do. they know how valuable i am now.
someone shoves an orb into my hand.
"it's a storage orb, the other orbs are inside it," and then he walks away.
another student steps towards me and pings my watch with a list of ingredients i need, some of which i surely have never seen before. my brows arch in confusion until i realize that these are extracts from the plants. they want me to extract the energy of the plant and put it into a pill format.
i keep my expression still as i walk back out of the building and hop onto my hover board. i go as far and as fast as i can. my breath is coming in short impossible bursts. what am i doing?
i find the herbs im looking for. i see what they want me to do but i don't care. at least now i can get out of this hell hole im in. i stop. nearby in the woods a long yellow glowing lights shift among the trees. it's another creature from the forest. it flies through the air like a paper bag. it is irrational and comes towards me at a varying speed. the minute it's near enough to touch i absorb the energy to transfer into a small white stone looking thing. i hop back onto my board and head towards a different area. at some point i need some of the water plants. i will have to ask kassie to bring me some.
i quickly send her a text using my watch asking for the plant if she has any freetime. she affirms that she can bring it to me. this means i can search for the next plant. this one is unfortunately near level one and the lonely cabin in the woods with the twisting tower of smoke.
i make it there under the shade of darkness, my eyes peeled for a small glowing plant. far off i see a small patch of them blooming among the forest area. they are smaller than i expected, a stem and small pink looking leaves. i absorb their energy too, the flowers losing their glowing quality when they have nothing left. the rock in my hand has begun to change colors and the energy contents swirl like a galaxy inside. the color i am waiting for has not shone itself yet. the recipe isn't complete yet, so it isn't a fully opaque orange yet.
