in the back of my brain i have made a list of most important things to accomplish before i die. i have committed to helping kassie become the boss along with killing my father's murderer.
i spend more time in the library than my own bedroom. and the reason for this—the council line through the generations. apparently lineage is important to the creatures and they had conserved the family tree.
but even with the wealth of genetic information i find myself more confused than i was before. from what i can find the seven originals were the first ones in Alasia. Our powers are a fraction of what theirs were eventually, the originals pro created with the humans who they let enter using the electric gate. As the generations passed. The power in each crystal diminished fractionally from the originals. Eventually, this began to cause a major rift between those who procreated with humans and those who Soli procreated with alasians. In order to maintain purity in the major bloodlines there is a series of hundreds of years, where a law seeing strictly procreated with each other eventually a fraction of the community in Alasia left to join the human community and promote good relations. The only problem with this is that they did not have their powers in the other world, and were usually coined as insane and treated poorly. The alasians who remains in Alasia grew paranoid and have since been processing the closure of the electric gate.
This series of events raises a lot of questions in my mind why are they closing the gate? What could a human possibly due to an alasian in here. and then like a sword through my heart, I remember the humans were the ones who murdered my own father, where he could not use his powers. It all goes back to that wretched day. And all my father could manage to give me as a hint, was that history, as they tell us is not correct. The only question is what is wrong about it?
Although this series of digging feels like a dead end, it still leaves me with the family heads in. Hopefully I can find more literature about them in specific. The librarians here take a long time to find new books that will give me more information. My current goal is to establish the lineage and figure out who are the predecessors of the current council and who did they marry?
