level five. my feet fall on the hard earth. i'm a dead man walking. when i find who killed my father they will all be dead. i will finally be at peace. and i can finally die happy. level 5. i'm one step closer to my goal. to be buried next to my dad.

level five is different. i feel it in the air. the walk to the base feels longer than usual. i'm not the only one feeling it either. something about this specific level is different than the last few and what will come at us next.

and then i see it. the base here is a sky scraper with at least forty levels. i briefly wonder if the crystal is on the top floor, more than that, which of the forty floors at the other base has the crystal. and where will they move it?

out of the corner of my eye i watch kally and kassie pull away from the rest of the group. they're going in a different direction than the base. in confusion i decide to follow.

the farther we walk the odder it gets. we're walking close to where the base is. the only difference is that this is off to the side. suddenly i notice the other buildings that are a part of our territory. a small shack in particular that the two of them are making their way towards. i'm about to try talking to them when i see another figure approach. i hide among the greenery and hope they haven't seen me.

on closer inspection the person i'm seeing is ken. my brows furrow as i watch the three of them enter the small shack that can't fit more than four. it's different than the other buildings. it looks run down in comparison. slowly i make my way around the small building, finally situating myself inside a bush just outside a rickety old window.

the voices are hard to hear until i strain myself to hear. i'm more than surprised at what i hear. it's not just ken kally and kassie in there. there's several more alasians. one of which i would know the voice of anywhere and another i've never heard in my entire life. the voices creep into my eardrums and send a frenzy of blood to my head. what i'm listening to isn't just illegal, it's downright dubious.

i smile. at last. ones that deserve my wrath.
