the days slowly narrowing to the single digits before level five. no name and i have been working on how to crack the password. the school wouldn't put the computer in there unless there was a feasible way to crack it. and i just had an idea. i'll have to wait until game day to test it out but i definitely think this will work. it's only a matter of time.

"amy!" ken has not stopped bugging me. he keeps asking what's wrong with katie to the point that i'm actually bothered. finally i decide it's time to triple check if shes okay.

"will you please talk to her, get her to tell you something please. i'm really worried," his voice is different than usual. does he feel panicked? but why? she likes him? although—i'm sure she'll never tell him. there's no point in our situation. but i decide to ask her all the same.

i corner her after classes as the stars glisten above us.

"katie let's go hang out in my room," and so we make our way across the lawn towards the dorms. we make it through the doorway and into a sense of deja vu. ima stands in the living room surrounded by her cronies, her eyes fixed on katie.

"i can't believe you've cheated your way up the ladder so fast. it's not normal you know. having that much power, it makes you weird. you're like an alien. a gross ugly self absorbed alien, you're so powerful you don't even have to care about what other alasians are going through," ima rattles her tongue off in a lullaby fashion. i wish i could sew her mouth shut. i'm about to say as much until she continues.

"i bet you'll end up a dictator and then abandon alasia when you've killed it," as ima spits these words there is the sound of the crackle of lightning, i look over to see katie glowing as every single person in the room crumbles to the ground, she paralyzed us all using her electricity. in fact ima is still shaking and held in place by katie.

"i never abandon my people," she hisses the words like a snake and then just as suddenly as they all stopped everyone can move again. even though they can, no one does. katie is walking towards the hallway.

"are you coming?" she shouts after me. i scramble after her, slightly terrified.
