My Book

"What's your book about?"
I started my novel in middle school
Back then it the interpretation was a bit more literal
A girl living on the right side of the light
Outside her home was darkness, evil itself
Through the story she learns that life is not just light and dark but that there is a world in between. My story took place in the grey area in between.
I wanted that to be my story
That life was lived in the border between good and evil. In the grey.
Over time, like anything it evolved like a Pokèmon.
It still holds my original concept but it's a bit more subtle now.
Two orders in control of the populous with a rouge knight struggling in between what she believes and what she's told.
What is my book about?
My book has grown up with me.
Lived as I lived
Died
Been reborn countless times
My book has become my life
My place to escape to when life is too hard
When the real world makes my dystopian feel utopian
It was my hiding place
My hope
My ticket out of this life
I have put all my eggs in Avalon's basket
It is everything to me
What is it about?
It is about a girl that just wants to stay alive that's what my books about.
