I float high above the world
Unincumbered by the grief and sorrows of this life
I am weightless
I am outside my body
nothing can hurt me here
but I am still tethered to this life
Only bound to Earth by words
By art
By music
By all of the beautiful things
I am clinging on to them for dear life
A reason to stay
A reason to fight
To withstand
To stay come back into myself when everything else is telling me to float
