I have an addictive personality
My mother says it comes from her side
My father never says it but it runs in his too
I am doubled down with drunks
This means that I have a propension to become obsessed
My room is littered with collections of things of which I have no use
My bank account reflects this too
It's why I can never have a drink
Why I never take anything stronger than Advil
I have to have it
I can't stop
I rationalize it
I make it make sense when It can't
when it doesn't
I get my life together just to watch it all fall apart again.
