Part 2! of the series that no one asked for.
Movies are a lot like TV for me. I rarely watch them, but I have a few that I watch on repeat, and a few that I just like.
The Blair Witch Project
My first horror movie and it goes down as one of my favorites. I normally hate horror movies, but the buildup was so interesting, and the story was imaginative.
Happy Death Day
Same deal as Blair Witch not necessarily scary. Funny, crass, cute love story.
Ready or Not
A fun, gory watch. We love a badass woman.
The Hunger Games trilogy
Favorite books decent movies. Have you seen Josh Hutcherson?
The X-men trilogy
I don't care if it's nerdy I fucking love X-men!
The X-men prequel trilogy
These movies get way, way too much crap. I love Jennifer Lawerance as Mystique.
Citizen Kane (yes, I know this sounds a bit pompous but listen I just enjoy it)
I watched it just to say I had but by the end I was sobbing.
Meet Me in St. Louis
Just a silly little movie to watch whenever I need a break from life. Little factoid! I'll be home for Christmas was written for this movie. The movie became so popular that the song made its way into mainstream holiday music.
My Fair Lady
I had to read the play for class, and we watched the movie after. It's just one of those silly musicals that makes you laugh.
the John Wick trilogy
I love the moving art aspect, that it's not just another action film. It has emotion and beauty, plus Keanu Reeves.
Your Name
One of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen. I cried continually throughout.
Weathering with You
I read the manga first and in no way did it do this movie justice. So freaking beautiful!
Jozee The Tiger and The Fish
Enemies to lovers, awesome MMC. Disability rep. just an overall beautiful story, the manga is awesome.
Ride your Wave
I cried so hard after watching this. I love the Japanese surf culture represented in this movie, fun fact about me I've always wanted to surf but I can't swim lol.
I want to Eat your Pancreas
When I was in middle school my dad and I would trade comic/manga/ Webtoon recs this was his to me. The movie is amazing, but the manga is a work of pure art. The story is A-tier MMC's breakdown is still one of my all-time favorite scenes in any movie, second only to the Buttercup breakdown scene in Mockingjay PT. 2.
Black Swan
I have my issues but overall, this movie is beautiful and heart-breaking, fun fact I love ballet which is the only reason I watched it originally (imagine my surprise, lol).
Passengers
I love this movie, obviously I am team Auroa on this but between the setting, acting, and story I keep coming back to it. The scene where Aurora beats the shit out of him... bro so emotional! Jennifer Lawrence was phenomenal in this role.
