And then you were floating in a white void. You pried open your eyes. "Huh?? How did I get here?"
A woman in a bright yellow suit and pink tie approached, holding her hands together behind her back. She walked calmly until she was directly under you, then looked up. "In your desperation, it appears you have broken from the confines of space and time completely." She responded calmly, then reached her hand up to you. "It appears you found me. The author. ^-^" I smiled.
"The... what?" After a moment of hesitation, you stretched down your arm to grab it.
Gravity returned to you, and a slow descent brought you to standing face to face with me, a mere 5'2 or so in height. And with short, fluffy black hair and glasses, I was quite the sight. I giggled some as you came to stand with me. "I'm sorry.. You're the main character for a fanfiction I started writing about five to six years ago."
You laughed, scratching the back of your head nervously. "Haha! Is that so? I guess it does make sense, then. My journey has been pretty wild!"
Laughing with you, "Indeed it has!"
We sighed and stared in the same direction at the infinite nothingness. I was still loosely holding your hand, keeping you on the invisible ground. There weren't even any shadows out here. My fingers twitched, grabbing your attention again.
"...I wish I had been there for you more... Heh... I'm honestly surprised you're still here... I was so young when this all started. Hmhm. I had no idea what I was doing...still don't. I was just being a goofy little gamer girl."
"Yeah, it... I honestly don't know how to respond to you right now... To think you're the mind behind all the bad things that happened to me. But, hah, for the plot.. I guess."
"Yeah..."
You stared in silence. At absolutely nothing.
"...Does anything I did even matter?" You didn't even realize how emotional you were until you let go of my hand to hide your face in your hands. You started to float away, not caring, since you were too busy being an emotional trainwreck. I chased after, jumping to grab the edge of your shirt so you wouldn't float too far away.
"W- wait!! I'm sorry, okay?! I probably shouldn't have unloaded all that on you, should I??"
Still crying, "I mean does anything I do or say even matter?? What's the point of going back?!"
"Ghh, would you stop having an existential crisis?!" In a panic I looked back down just in time to see my own feet slip off of the ground. I to the air I floated as well. "well frick"
"I-if I'm just some half abandoned fanfic character than why even finish-!?"
"You matter to ME, okay!?" Grabbing both your hands, I looked into your eyes. Again, we started to descend, though very slowly. "You may just be some silly little self insert to my silly little fanfic, and yes, I may have outgrown you... but that doesn't mean all of this was meaningless! On the contrary! You were probably one of the most important things in my young teen life... Writing something fun and different, reading comments, seeing this book become the most popular book I've ever written... It gave me the confidence to keep on writing, to keep on getting better, and to take this fun little hobby of mine seriously... And, now... I'm a published author." I grinned. That's about when our feet landed on the invisible ground. Nervously, the woman chuckled. "Now I may not have made much moooneeey from publishing...but, it's a work in progress. I'll get there eventually.. And I have you to thank for it."
You stared me in the eyes, both of us with tears but for different reasons. I stepped in and wrapped my arms around you to give you a big hug.
"...Your story helped to turn a bullied little Autistic girl with no friends into a young woman with a stable income, friends who also love to write, and enough self assurance to stand up for herself. But most importantly, I think, you gave me hope for a brighter future. ... I've felt bad for years about not giving you the happy ending I think you've given me. So..." A warmth filled your back, generating from her hands. The warmth seeped into your very bones until you were generating such a strong warmth. "I'm giving you my power for this one. The choice is yours. Live as happily as you want. It's a stupidly contrived ending, I know. Heh. But I think we can all appreciate a little fun here and there, can't we?"
Your eyes widened, stepping back to stare at your hands and flex your fingers. This time you remained firmly on the ground even without contact. "I can do...anything?"
I placed my hand on your shoulder, smirking mischievously. "If you can't kill em with kindness, kill em with cringe." Then wiggled my eyebrows. You scrunched your face at me. "You know what I'm talking about!" Laughing, I shoved your shoulder so far back you fell. The ground behind you quickly turned into a dark purple and black vortex. I waved as you fell. "Make this finale fun! As wacky and wild as you want!!"

You were back in the Nether. For some reason, it felt like it'd been forever since last seeing this place! You were hit with a wave of nostalgia upon seeing Herobrine and Notch fighting, Herobrine clearly losing.
You put your hands together, feeling a bundle of warmth fill your palms. "I can end this however I want, eh?" You grinned.
---
You stood between Notch and Herobrine, throwing up your fists. "Give up now, Notch! Either become a good person now, or die!"
"Tuh!" The man was too disgusted to laugh. Do you seriously not get it yet!? I am the most powerful being on this planet! Among the multiverse!! And it won't be long before I completely destroy you!
You made up a flamboyant/dramatic hand gesture on the spot and closed your eyes. "Domain Expansion:" You opened your eyes, a wide grin parting your lips. "Where are the askers?"
Immediately, a cloud of darkness wrapped around the three of you. A choir of Quackities appeared on either side of the expanse, singing in unison.
Jjk narrator voice: When (Y/n) activates her domain, the object of interest is subjected to a simple but inescapable trial. For everyone who didn't ask, the boaster receives 10% damage. If NO ONE asked, it is an immediate, 100%, critical hit.
"NOOO! Where did this power even come from!?!" Notch screamed as he turned to dust.
As the darkness left and the dust literally settled into the Netherrite ground, you turned to Herobrine with your hands on your hips. The man was still on his hands and knees, in shock over what just happened. You knelt down and picked the man up bridal style. "Come on, big man, we're going home."
"Y... Yes ma'am..." He blushed.
. . .
And that is really how your story ends.
The End.Thank you all so much for reading. ❤️
