Applying some lipstick to her plump lips, Stevie looked over her small compact as she watched her son bounce Jessica in his arms and she grinned.

"She's so tiny, it's crazy..." Jeffrey replied, looking at his mom.

She chuckled, "And imagine, you were that little once," she mentioned, putting her lipstick away.

"I know, but it reminds me of when Shannon was little..." he claimed. "It doesn't feel like it was that long ago, but in retrospect, it really was..."

"There are so many memories that I have that feel like yesterday and when I go to talk about it, you kids don't know what I'm talking about because you were too little to remember," she paused. "My mom and dad would always tell me that I would understand when I was an adult and I never thought I'd see the day I'd have kids," she shrugged.

He grinned. "Did you want us?" he wondered, but then paused when he realized she creased her brow. "I mean, obviously you wanted us, but did you actually plan on having kids?"

"I didn't think I would," she responded. "But once I had you, you changed my world, then we had Shannon and I thought that was it, but then Nick came along and he really mellowed us out," she smirked.

He nodded and sat down as he settled the four month old baby on his lap.

"Hi, little one," Stevie leaned forward after putting her makeup away and she settled her focus on the baby, taking one of her feet in her hands to play with. "Oh, my sweet girl, you are so precious..." she sighed, going ahead and taking her from her son.

Jeffrey watched his mother with ease and he grinned because there was nothing better than watching his mother be a mom, it was very comforting especially after being away from home for so long.

"Come to auntie, my love," she caressed her, kissing her cheek and swiping her blonde strands out of her face. "My favorite niece..."

"Your only niece," he chuckled.

"Don't tell her that," she smirked.

Pretty soon Christopher entered with not only Nicholas at his side, but Robert as well.

"Oh, you made it back?" Stevie mentioned, settling the baby on her hip in order to stand.

"Yeah, it was an easy job, my crew was just asleep on me," he shook his head in an annoyed fashion. "And Shannon?" he wondered.

"She'll meet us there, she got off at six but she said she has to go back at eight to cover for another coworker."

He nodded.

"Where's Lori?" Christopher asked.

"She's upstairs, she should be ready," Stevie assured.

"Okay. I'm gonna go wash up. And I changed the oil for you, your Mercedes is running fine. I taught Nick a few things and now he knows how to change the tires too," he smirked, smacking the teenager in the back of the head with his rag.

"Hopefully, I'll gave somebody to do it for me considering one day I will be a rich doctor," he assured.

"Not that you'll have to do it but at least, you'll know... In case your brother or dad aren't around..." Christopher rolled his eyes with a smirk and made his way to his wife.

"Yeah, Uncle Chris taught me almost everything I know... I know how to fix cars because of him and grandpa and I know how to build houses because of dad," Jeffrey chuckled. "But he's right, just in case, when I'm away again..."

"Again?" Stevie sighed. "You're not planning on doing this to me again, are you?" she smirked, shaking her head. "You just got back..."

"I know, but you know..." he shrugged.
