"You're pregnant?!" Ruth asked just moments after taking in the entirety of their story.

"Yes," the singer blushed.

Lindsey settled his hand over hers, looking at her simply in an adoring fashion.

She looked at him timidly before letting off another small laugh.

"Wait, so you're making me a grandmother?" she wondered, just needing the insurance.

"Yes, mom," he chuckled. "Stevie and I are having a baby together, making you a grandmother... Making Jeff an uncle."

"This is the best news. The best Christmas present ever," she jumped up, walking over to hug the both of them. "Ugh, I am so thrilled! Thrilled is an understatement. I can't even find the words to express how happy I am."

"I'm really glad you're so happy," Stevie assured. "My mom and dad are really excited too."

"Oh, my gosh! How are your parents?" she then asked as she took a seat.

"They're good. They're all actually at my house, prepping for Christmas and helping my ex-husband with the kids."

Robert and Stevie were early on in their stages of divorce considering he barely had gotten the paperwork done for her and since she wasn't home quite yet, she hadn't signed then, but she wasn't going to tell Lindsey's mom that.

"That's so great, sweethearts. That's so exciting. Maybe soon, I'll have Lindsey or Jeff take me over there. I would love to meet your children, I'm sure they're all wonderful and beautiful as you are," she held the woman's hand.

"They're all something," she couldn't help but joke, following her statement with a wry laugh.

He smirked, "Of course, mom..." he reverted to the first part of her comment. "Whenever you want to visit, you are more than welcome, you know that."

"In fact, you and Jeffrey should both come down for Christmas," the blonde mentioned.

"Really?" both Lindsey and his mother replied at the same time, looking toward the woman.

"Whoa. I mean, yes, of course," she shrugged. "I would love that. My parents always ask about you, Ruth, and since everybody is in town at my place for the holidays, I think it would be nice. You could meet my kids..." she suggested. "I think it would be really nice."

"Lindsey, is that a good idea?" Ruth wondered.

"Whatever you want, mom, I'll make it happen," Lindsey assured, reaching over to grab his mother's hand, kissing the back of it.

"Well, then I'd love to go back with you. I just have to convince Jeff..."

"Allow me," her son replied. "I'm sure I can convince him."

"And if not him, I'm sure I can convince him," Stevie winked.

"With everything that's going on at your place, with Shannon in particular, do you think it's the greatest idea that my mom stays with us?" Lindsey whispered as he unpacked his clothes. "Of course, she'll be staying with me, but y'know?"

"I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't think it was a good idea. Having somebody there, that Shannon doesn't know will keep her in a civil mood, that is if she is still home," she rolled her eyes as a sigh relieved her as she settled her hand to her bump. "I plan on telling my parents everything; my mom knows but I don't know what she knows as of now... And I'm thinking of maybe even coming forward and fessing up to Nick. If he is not as oblivious as we all think, I'm hoping he knows and is choosing not to say anything, but I think Rob and I need to talk to him."
