By the time the end of the week rolled around, Robert's sisters; Catherine and Danielle would arrive to Santa Monica, California from Brooklyn, New York.

Barbara walked into the bedroom just to see her daughter folding and putting clean laundry away.

"Hi, TeeDee," she smiled. "Let me help you, honey..."

"Thank you," she sighed and took a seat.

"How are you feeling?" she wondered.

"This week's been better. I'm just so annoyed that Robert called his sisters and they're coming..."

"When are they coming?"

"This evening. Jeffrey's picking them up from the airport," she rolled her eyes. "With Robert's surgery tomorrow morning, and recovery looking like a five day hospital stay, with them here, and me having to go back to work, I'm stressed."

"I understand, honey... Where are they staying?"

"I told the kids to decide on who's giving up their room to stay in mine because I don't want them looking through my things. I don't know what Robert's plan has been if he's in the guest room and he's only there because bringing him up and down the stairs would be a pain. As it is, Jeffrey is having to deal with that when he has to bathe."

"Well, this weekend, Shannon told me she wanted to come back to Arizona with us. She said she'll stay in her house, so she can take care of her arm and just rest. Jess talked her into enrolling in school for the fall."

"No kidding?" she rose her brow. "Well, if that's what she wants to do, fine... That way their aunts can stay in her room or one of the boys', I don't know. Jeffrey said it would be easier for him to sleep in our room because he doesn't have much to move. "That would make me feel better."

"What's your new schedule like now?" Barbara then asked.

"Well, depending on how things go with surgery, I had Karen put everything on hold. I'm not going back on the road until he's home. I was going to leave Monday, next week, but I already know that I can't rely on surgery and recovery to be exactly as they say."

"Right..."

"All my shows are in California, so I'll still be here," she shrugged. "From the seventh to the eighteenth, I'll be on schedule, after that, the seven shows I missed are going to the end and I'll be home by mid October. I'm just hoping I stay this small," she smoothed her hand over her bump. "I'm sure all my layers of chiffon and velvet will keep everything hidden and under control."

Her mother smirked.

"God willing," she shook her head.

...

When mid evening came along, Jeffrey would arrive home with his aunts from New York, being a gentlemen, he took all of their bags and lugged them in on his own.

"Oh, Robbie," Catherine cried as she approached him. "Look at you!"

"It's okay, I'm okay," he patted her arm that was wrapped around his neck, chuckling just a little.

"I can't believe you didn't call us," Danielle scolded her younger brother.

"I'm gonna take these upstairs..." Jeffrey claimed, just settling both of women's belongings in his room until he knew further details.

"Me and Stevie didn't wanna cause a fuss when Shannon and I were in the hospital..."

"How do you not call this a fuss, Robert?" the oldest of the three wondered was a lifted brow. "You're in a wheelchair."
