Although she was definitely craving a cigarette after such a passion filled mid-morning, knowing it was the stress of how she was feeling considering she'd given it up just months before she had found out she was pregnant. Stevie rolled over onto her side, hoisting herself up in order to begin kissing Lindsey's chest as she came down from the erotic high he'd left her in.
"Y'know, I do just about anything to make you happy, keep you relaxed--"
She pressed her lips to his, quieting him in an instant.
Hand roaming her back, his callused fingertips sinking into her soft skin, he pulled back as best as he could while she was on top of him---in the power position.
"Steph?" he mumbled.
"Hm?" she nearly moaned into his mouth.
He then used the bit of leverage he could get and he flipped over to be on top, mostly to get a word in.
She reached up for him easily, swiping his face gently.
"Were you listening to me?" he wondered, hand caressing her thigh and he rubbed her leg and hip.
"Mhmm... I don't want to talk, I just want you to love me," she replied.
"I do love you," he assured. "I love you with everything in me..."
Her heart swelled at the sound of his words.
"Which is why I'm trying to talk to you... I know you better than anybody and I know you're trying to distract yourself."
She sighed, admiring his features while she tried to ignore his spiel, but ultimately, he had the room since they were the only ones there, other than their baby in the next room who was sleeping.
"I try to do what I can to make you happy, make sure you're taken care of and or are relaxed..." he continued, "But I can't do that when you won't talk to me."
She shrugged, "What do you want me to say?" she wondered, nails grazing up and down the length of his forearm. "I told you I just got that bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I tried calling Shannon and Robert this morning but nobody answered. Obviously Lily and Nick are okay... Jeffrey is supposed to be home by the end of the week and he hasn't called me since Saturday, I'm just worried."
He swiped her blonde waves out of her face.
"You're right here," she shrugged. "I know you're fine."
"Does something always have to be wrong?" he wondered.
"Evidently," she arched her brow. "But this helps," she moved her hand from his forearm to his shoulder, relishing in his beauty as she looked up at him.
"But does it?" he smirked.
"Oh, honey, you're the best cure," she smiled, her words in soft, yet husky tone.
She drove him crazy.
He leaned in and he kissed her, allowing his tongue to tangle with hers, enjoying the taste of her.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the front door.
"Mm..." she pried herself away, turning her head slightly. "Was that the door?" she creased her brow, unsure if she had imagined it.
"I didn't hear anything," he replied honestly, kissing her neck while leaving a trail of kisses down her chest.
"You're probably right," she returned to him, matching his affection easily.
A ring of the doorbell then followed.
"Mm..." she pulled away, licking her lips. "Okay, now that was the door," she pointed. "I'm crazy, but I know I'm not that crazy," she smirked.
