Once Stevie got the phone call that Kristen was, in fact, in labor and most likely delivering that day, the woman was sure to let her mom and Ruth know for the sake of Lily since she absolutely was going to be taken there to be supportive. Then of course, due to the entire family being there along with some friends, she was trying to figure out how she was going to make her exit smooth enough when somebody would more than likely catch her.

"Here are your tennis, honey," Barbara made her way over---untying the knots that had been previously made the last time she wore them.

Meanwhile, Ruth was cradling Lily in her arms.

"This is so exciting, I can't believe she's having the baby..." Barbara continued.

Stevie smiled to herself.

It was pretty exciting to think that she was becoming a grandmother herself after all those years of continuously giving her parents grandchildren---it was exciting.

"Aren't you just thrilled?" Ruth asked the woman---humoring Barbara even though she was very up to date with who Kristen was.

During the gathering on Christmas Eve, she had recalled who she was but post stroke and everything, she thought maybe she had her confused so she never asked. Though once her son had cleared everything up that afternoon---she was following along and just pretending she never met her. It was easy because she never really got to know her that well---it was safe to say they weren't close.

"I am," she nodded. "I feel like this never ending nightmare is somehow coming to an end," she explained. "Jeffrey's gone, yet his baby is on the way... It really is a blessing. Robert's gonna be just over the moon."

"Here you are, TeeDee," Barbara patted her feet, letting her know she was done tying her shoes.

"Thank you," she stood up slowly. "I'm gonna go downstairs and get Robert, somehow avoid his sisters, but y'know how that might go... I'll have Lindsey call you when we get there," she kind of gestured her hand for a hug.

Her mother leaned in and pecked cheeks with her.

"Bye, dear," Ruth stood in order to do the same. "No need to worry about Miss Lily---we have her," she added.

Stevie grinned in response.

"I'll help you down the stairs," her mother chimed, guiding her daughter toward the door. "I'll be back shortly, Ruth..."

"Take your time," she encouraged.

Stevie settled her hand on the railing of the stairs and she took her steps very slowly---able to pretty much do it on her own since she knew how many stairs there were, how steep they were from memory---it was her home and she knew the ins and outs of it.

"Hey, Stevie..." Catherine smiled. "It's so good to see you." Her tone was ever so sympathetic.

"Hi, Cathy," she stopped and turned her body in that direction, but of course she couldn't make eye contact. "It's been a while and given the circumstances, it's an unfortunate reason we're all here together."

Barbara rubbed her daughter's arm.

"We wanted to come as soon as Robert told us, but Dani felt you needed some space and we should wait till we were invited..."

"It's good you waited, a lot has gone on," she nodded her head.

Just then, Danielle entered with one of her daughters, while Shannon followed---wanting to make another drink though she was caught up talking to Grace.

"Hi, Stevie," Grace smiled. "You look so pretty..."

Since finding out that Stevie Nicks was, in fact, her boyfriend's mother---she had found her to be so humble and so motherly---seeing her in her natural state, she found her breathtaking. Her naturally curly hair, simple clothing, light makeup that was just how she wore it in all the magazines and concerts---but she was the same as anybody else despite her career and immense talent.
