When Friday mid morning came around, Stevie was getting herself ready to meet up with the girls for lunch like she had planned, hoping the young lady that had bailed Robert out of jail would show considering she felt bad she took care of their son's bill technically.

Meantime, Robert's work day had come to an end considering he had left for work so early in the morning for the sake of finishing for the weekend early.

Making his way to his bedroom, he noticed the house was rather quiet.

"Babe?" he mumbled.

"In here!" she replied, coming out of her closet with a piece of clothing in her hand; simply in a bra and her panties.

"Hey, that's a good look for you," he smirked, coming near to wrap her in his arms.

"Ah, you're funny," she shook her head.

"Where are you off to?" he then wondered, plopping down on the bed.

"It's Friday... Girl time," she winked.

"Ah," he nodded.

"And I invited the gal who bailed you out of jail... She told me there was nothing I needed to do to thank her, but I just wanted to do something, so I told her to join us..."

"You're a giving person," he shrugged.

"Maybe so... And as usual, you are invited. I think Jeff is actually gonna come with. "

"Is he here?" he wondered.

"Yeah, he dropped Shannon off at Becky's so they can hang out and then go to work tonight and then he dropped Nick off at his friend's house for a sleepover this weekend."

"Which friend?"

"Darren... So it wasn't a far drop off," she shrugged. "Anyway, he's been back a while, but in the garage, shining up the headlights and hubcaps on my Mercedes because he said I can't drive around in a nice car and not have it clean," she smirked, slipping into a simple off the shoulder, black dress as she spoke.

"Yeah, that's my son," he smirked, watching her come out of the walk-in closet.

"How does this look?" she wondered. "Never mind," she waved him off and took the simple dress off to find something else.

"I was gonna say good," he smirked.

"Good is not a great enough answer for me..."

"You're only meeting with girls," he claimed.

"I know, I'm just in my head lately," she mentioned, grabbing a black, long sleeved, off the shoulder blouse instead that was a tad see-through. She then opted for a black skirt that had a slit up the right leg, causing an asymmetrical hem to the length. "Better?" she then wondered.

"Very nice..." he nodded, reaching out for her hand.

She walked over.

He then reeled her into himself and he held her tightly.

She smirked to herself as she fixed the hair peeking from the slicked back look. "So, are you gonna come with?"

"Where you going?" he wondered.

"That one bar-restaurant, beach view... The food's alright, cocktails are better. Jeffrey wanted to see his aunts, so I told him if he came and then later got bored he could take my car home and I would eventually get home," she smirked.

"I hate it when you do that..."

"It's not like anybody drives drunk... Sharon usually has one to two glasses of white wine at most or she doesn't drink at all," she shrugged. "Besides, Lori is a new mother, married to my brother and I am simply stressed, so I need a couple drinks... And if that girl does come, I'm not gonna drink that much because, I'm not trying to embarrass myself."
