Lori would arrive at the hospital; the first to see what was going on and one of the only ones to know how to aid her sister in-law due to her pregnancy.

Rubbing the singer's back, she encouraged her the best she could to stop crying.

"How'd you get here so fast?" she wondered, wiping her eyes as she pulled away from her.

"When Lindsey told me, I immediately got out of bed and got a taxi," she sighed. "I called Sharon, Chris and her are meeting at my place so she can watch the baby while he brings our truck back..." she swiped her disheveled hair out of her face. "Let's go to the cafeteria and get you some tea..."

"No, I don't want to leave... What if one of them wakes up and I'm not here?" she asked.

"Steph, come with me... You need to just sit down and take a breather, for the sake of the baby, honey," she extended her hand.

She took a deep breath and looked at her daughter before following her sister in-law.

As they walked through the corridor and to the elevators, they talked lightly.

While hugging herself, she shook her head. "I don't know what it is I'm supposed to do, Lori... I don't know how things are so out of hand. It's all my fault, that's what it is..."

"Stevie, it's not your fault," she shook her head as she prepared two Styrofoam cups; one with hot water and the other with coffee. She then grabbed a chamomile packet and handed it to her while she fixed herself a cup of coffee.

"But isn't it?" she grasped it. "This is all one big mess. The only thing on my mind thus far has been breaking the news to Robert that we need to come to terms with a divorce and that I'm pregnant with... Well, not his baby," she rolled her eyes. "My other concern was Shannon and that whole mess," she gestured. "Now, look where we are..."

"I know you're stressed, but you need to calm down," she guided her along to take a seat at one of the tables for two.

Pulling out a chair, she plopped down and she settled her cup onto the table before dropping her head in her hands.

"This isn't your fault..." the redhead reached over and she swiped her hair. "They got into a car accident and it wasn't even their fault."

"Yes, but they were on their way to my show," she picked her head up.

"You could have not have known that was going to happen... Nick and Jeffrey made it perfectly fine, not even they would have expected something like that..."

"But I just had a bad feeling and I didn't say anything," she assured. "I've been so swarmed by so many emotions and thoughts, that I thought it was nothing. I should have trusted my gut and said something, perhaps told them not come. Any time I've ever had a bad feeling, I've been right. Robert and the kids know that, and I should have said something."

"Look, you have been so occupied. It's not your job to keep everybody out of danger... Look at you, you're a wreck and you shouldn't be right now. You're gonna make yourself sick," she assured in a whisper.

She nodded, doing her best to simply calm down.

"Did you call the boys?"

"Yeah..." she nodded.

"Did you tell them, or...?"

"I talked to Nicholas, he's the one who answered. I told him to wake his brother and to get down here, but not any details. I just told him to be cautious and drive safe..."

She nodded and then paused. "Lindsey's really worried about you..."

She pumped her brow and picked up her cup of tea to sip.
