That evening, at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, Lindsey made sure the singer and her band were completely set up before deciding to take off once he had confirmation that her kids and husband were coming. Neither of them had it in them to try and figure out how they would explain such things to her kids when surely Robert was more than aware he was on tour with her.

Before the show, Jeffrey and Nicholas made it backstage to see their mother in hair and makeup just before her show.

Stevie was putting her own mascara on with her hand held mirror when she noticed her boys entering her line of vision.

"Hi, my loves," she grinned, twisting the tube shut and handing it back to the makeup artist.

The makeup artist then dusted some blush on the woman's cheeks and then took a step back, smiling as the boys embraced her from behind.

"These are for you," Jeffrey displayed a bouquet of some gardenias.

"Oh, thank you, sweethearts," she beamed, kissing his cheek as she turned to kiss her other son. "They're beautiful and they remind me so much of home..."

"I figured with all the touring you'd be a bit homesick," Nicholas added.

"You two are as thoughtful as ever," she assured, settling them down on the vanity. "When Karen comes, I'll ask her to get them some water..."

"It's nothing, and by the way, ya look gorgeous, mama," Jeffrey commented, giving her a squeeze as he kissed her head.

"Thank you, sweetheart," she giggled. "Oh, and look at you... I think you had another growth spurt," she mentioned, looking at her youngest son.

"That's what dad was saying, I hope it's true... I'd like to be Jeff's height by eighteen," he smirked.

"Well, you might just get there in the next two years... If there's a will, there's a way," she chuckled. "Knowing you, I'm sure you'll find a way..."

He chuckled.

"Ugh, it's so good to see you babies, I've missed you," she claimed.

"We missed you too," Jeffrey assured.

"Where's your dad and sister at?" she then wondered.

"Well, they were getting stoned this afternoon," Nicholas was sure to mention.

"Lovely," she rolled her eyes, not really understanding how her husband could condone doing such things with their daughter. "I really don't get that," she pumped her brow.

It truly was beyond her considering she barely found it appropriate to let her kids drink with her even if they were of age, but since addiction ran in their family, she didn't see the need to dangle it in their face further by enabling them to consume substances.

"Yeah, but that was actually around eleven this morning and Shannon went to work right after, so I think once dad had some munchies and a nap, he was gonna pick her up from work at four and come straight here," Jeffrey explained.

"I'm sure they'll be here on time..." Nicholas figured he'd add after throwing them under the bus to begin with.

"Probably, I'm just doing the mom thing... I worry about your sister, she really is so crazy..."

"Like somebody we know," he teased.

"Alright, time for you to get out. Go bother your aunts and uncle, I have to finish getting ready," she chuckled, giving her oldest son a nudge.

Jeffrey laughed.

"I'm taking these cookies!" Nicholas mentioned, the treats that were in a decked out gift basket for the sake of Stevie Nicks playing at their venue.
